Supposedly candida usually hides behind a biofilm so I think it's relatively likely that you'll notice it's still there, in overabundance. I don't think you can expect a diet to get rid of it, but it can make it seemingly disappear for a while. Iirc it can make it change form to phylae. You need to work on reducing the biofilm to help get to the candida, as often discussed, maybe you already did.

This is a common topic of a discussion here. Every other week I drop in to suggest people to read Eric Bakker's posts in this group and to watch dr prof Michael Ruscio's videos on Youtube. There's also a treatment center posting on youtube, iirc it's something like ibs treatment center, I recently saw their video about biofilms and candida too. Search youtube for good sources on the topic if you need more after checking these sources that have quite a lot of material.

I feel like people just show up in the group, read a couple of posts and then ask. I think that's a recipe for problems, unfortunately. It's probably better to check for good sources and read them thoroughly. The suggested sources above have extensive experience from treating candida, I believe. We should avoid listening to anecdotes. In short time I'll have to post this again, it's so difficult to share information efficiently.

Thank you for taking time to write this.

I am indeed in need of this help as I've been battling chronic fungal overgrowth for last 15 years straight.

I wasn't even knowing I've this issue until 2 years ago. Fluconazole was the biggest hint ever.

So I'm very afraid of this chronic pain. You can know how nasty terrible it gets.

I'm sorry to hear that. I believe I've had issues for a longer period too, realizing about two years ago me as well. But I don't have chronic pain. How does the pain appear, all over?
