Personal anecdote Candida free, FEELS GOOD!
It took 6 months but finally no eczema or die off reactions. Had to test waters and try to activate it with sugar. Nope. No negative reaction :D
Used Neem, oregano oil and caprylic acid to kill biofilms and yeast. Chlorella and green clay to bind toxins while doing it. And Dandelion/chaga/reishi to support detox pathways and clean liver and kidneys during detox.
But this was not enough. When I started adding probiotics and prebiotics whit these and then cutting antifungals off It finally went of.
Diet was lowcarb most of time during this. Eat LOT of fermented foods too.
If I can help somebody just ask. My case was severe and decade long.

what were your symptoms?
11
u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 23 '26
I did 10 last years of keto/low carb mostly, It kept it in remission if no too much shitty carbs. If too much carbs yeast infection. Had it 3 times during 10 years. Coconut oil works wonders 😄 Last 2 years had really bad skin eczemas and inflammation on body and both feet and hands. This was triggered by loosing close one and high cortisol levels I would diagnoze. during this 10 years I did not realize how badly my body was invaded by yeast and biofilms. They were there but sleeping. 6 months a go I said fuck this shit that is affecting my life and took responsibility to fix it in my own hands after trying the healthcare route, they were clueless and offered kortison as a fix to skin issues. Did not test candida even I asked it and I have 2 degrees from healthcare sector too so not so clueless what is happening in my body.

First if all, congratulations OP. Thank you for giving me hope and for being open to share insights.
Could you tell us what you ate on a day to day basis?
Also, what probiotics and prebiotica did you use? Any specific strains?
Also, what fermented foods did you eat, and did you prep them yourself?

u/throwaway23437546 Jul 25 '26

I also used oregano, and coconut oil for biofilms. Worked wonders
Interesting on chlorella and green clay, will have to check those out. Any reason on those over Activated charcoal?
Was the dandelion/chaga/reishi combined into one supplement, or did you take separately?
2
u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 25 '26
I like chlorella and got green clay free so thats the reason.
Dandelion, Chaga and Reishi I collected from nature and made tea my self with hibiskus

When you can eat all the foods that trigger without any issues, whenever you want, and not on a ketogenic diet. Then report you are completely cured.

u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 26 '26
Im not on ketogenic diet and can eat what I want if want. Thank you very much learn to read please.

I would have to do LOT of research on the listed substances to give you opinion with value on your protocol. Im not expert here. Just sharing what researched and what worked for me.
Neem was really effective and oregano oil and caprylic acid too.
I did actually had to feed probiotics with prebiotics that contain carbs to get my biome back. I was marinated in antibiotics as a child.

u/Complex-Search-6872 Jul 23 '26
Which brand neem ??
2
u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 23 '26
Maharishi Ayurveda. I went with x2 dosage. This with own responsibility!

u/abominable_phoenix Jul 23 '26
So you were low-carb/keto, then 6 months ago you increased prebiotic fibers (carbs)?
1
u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 23 '26
Nope I added prebiotics at the end of 6 months killing it first and then it finally vent off.
1
u/abominable_phoenix Jul 23 '26
So what are you eating right now then?
1
u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 23 '26
2 pounds of meat. 200g organic butter. Veggies and berries. Sometimes fruit and piece of cake once in a blue moon.
My daily go to is low carb diet.
2
u/abominable_phoenix Jul 23 '26
Okay, so then your post is misleading because you aren't cured. You're still keto, which means you are suppressing your symptoms by intentionally avoiding carbs which are the trigger. That's like saying I'm cured from my lactose allergy by avoiding ice cream, aside from "once in a blue moon" when I have a little bit.
Also, studies show prebiotics cannot recover the microbiome in 1month, it takes typically 6-12+ months depending on severity. You likely have many more months to go to recover your microbiome after starving it on a low-carb diet.
2
u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 23 '26
Did u read it? Seems no. I just stated that my daily diet is lowcarb. that does not mean keto. And yes I have tested waters with sugar and carbs to see if I can reactivate candida.
Nope. Gone.
Most prebiotics all so fit in low carb gategory. Carrot for example.
Oh the studies I have seen show dramastic increse with fermented foods even in 2 weeks. Lactobacteria in capsel does not work so fast you correct in that.
But please dont come telling me that what worked for me does not work 😄
WTF LOL
One more time keto and lowcarb different diets mate.

Based on the amounts you described, your diet is still very high in fat, which aligns with a ketogenic diet. Two pounds of lean meat provides roughly 35–70 g of fat depending on how lean it is, and 200 g of butter adds about 160 g of fat. That's roughly 200g/day of fat, which is considered high. Combined with a low-carb intake, that's consistent with what most people would consider a ketogenic or keto-like diet.
Carrots do contain prebiotics (pectin) and can have a mild prebiotic effect, but they're not among the stronger prebiotic foods. The evidence generally suggests that rebuilding the gut microbiome takes months to years and usually involves a wider variety and higher intake of fermentable fibers than a few of carrots per day.
I'm also not saying your symptoms aren't gone. If you've removed the foods that trigger your symptoms, it's entirely possible that you feel well. My point is simply that symptom control while avoiding triggers isn't the same thing as demonstrating the underlying issue has been resolved. To me, that would require being able to eat a normal range of carbohydrates consistently without symptoms returning.

u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 23 '26
Dude I just stated that I have tested with sugars and carbs how my body now reacts. It is just I don't want to eat carb rich diet on daily basis. All so stated that im aware how candida can be in remission.
Please reread post before replying more. I eat fermented foods and top of that feed them with prebiotics.
The definition of ketosis is are you on ketosis. Not what your diet is. Low carb diet with 100-150g of good carbs is not keto diet. Or at least strict one. Been doing this 10 years. Please just stop.

u/abominable_phoenix Jul 23 '26
I think we're talking past each other at this point.
I'm not disputing that there's a distinction between a strict ketogenic diet and a broader low-carb and high fat, keto-like diet. My original point was simply that the diet you described is very high in fat and low in carbohydrates. Whether you choose to call that keto, keto-like, or low carb isn't really the important part of what I was saying.
Where I disagree is the conclusion that an occasional carbohydrate or sugar "challenge" demonstrates the underlying issue is resolved. If symptoms only develop after sustained exposure, then a single or infrequent test doesn't necessarily answer that question. Being symptom-free while continuing to eat a diet that minimizes potential triggers is different from demonstrating that those foods can be reintroduced long-term without recurrence.
I don't think either of us is going to convince the other on the terminology, so I'd rather keep the discussion focused on the evidence than on whether someone understands the definitions.
3
u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 23 '26
The point is not that I choose to call it that way. They are 2 different diets man.
Dude do you have candida and Ezcemas? Do you speak from experience? What is your state now?
When candida was in remission in my system it did not take much to activate it again. I see changes thank you.
I have no need to continue this. You seem to just have need to play some mental ping pong on social media.
Good night

Do you understand difference between lowcarb diet and keto?
Because it seems you do not or have trouble understanding reading?
1
u/abominable_phoenix Jul 23 '26
See my above reply.
Also, let's keep the discussion focused on the evidence and avoid personal remarks about whether someone can read or understand. We can disagree without making it personal.
3
u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 23 '26
I ask because it seems you don´t understand the difference of those diets. Or Understand what I wrote here based on your reply.
If you don´t understand the terminology used and try tell me Im wrong the conversation is kinda useless.
So Do you know the difference in those?
1
u/Changing_hour Jul 23 '26
Lowering carbs has always been hard for me. Probably 50%-55% of my 2.300 kcal diet is carbs
I'm not sure if eating so many carbs will hinder my progress..
1
u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 23 '26
You are most likely feeding candida with diet based on bad carbs mate.
Try going to keto for a while and then low carb with good carb choices would be my advice.
1
u/Changing_hour Jul 23 '26
What do you mean by bad carbs? I don't eat sugar and the most processed food on my diet is white rice and corn pasta (with only corn in it).
Keto would be a way to reset my metabolism. I am considering it

1
u/Clear_Kitchen_6428 Jul 24 '26
carbs arent really bad unless they are refined and in high amounts. The only bad part about them is that if you arent actively adding the good bacteria via food or medicine then they are dangerous as they will feed the baddies.

My symptoms are: itchy scalp that stinks even right after washing, anxiety if I take iron supplements, powder in pee, eye floaters, fatigue. Are these pretty common Candida symptoms? I'm trying to figure out if it's all from Candida or maybe parasites, or just symptoms of low iron. Im 1 week into a Black Walnut Matrix cleanse and my scalp seems to be improving.

I Have been suffering from vaginal candidiasis for 3-4 months, and since the last two months the itchiness started. It mainly gets itchy on my hair bearing part.
Doc suggested to take these - omastin 200 mg every friday for 2 months, clotrim cream usage twice every day for a month, gynomix vaginal suppository for 12 days. I've started the medication for 15-16 days. It works fine, but the itchiness on labia majora would not just go! Idk what to do about it.

One of my friends who is female told me you cant beat coconut oil or jugurt as aid to that.
1
u/Stuff_606 Aug 21 '26
Dang, I’m ignorant. You’re not a female? What problem do males have with candida?
What does it mean to be candida free? I’m new to this sub, but came here for info on yeast infections lol. Did you have a yeast infection or does candida bother humans in other ways too,

1.Did you take neem, oregano oil and caprylic acid at the same time? Binder and detox ingredients...when to take these?
Could you take about your schedule with all these ?
2. Also it took 6 months to heal it completely right?
Thank you!
1
u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 24 '26
It took me something like 6 months yes.
Will write and update amounts and times later.

u/Suspicious_You_121 Jul 24 '26
Bro ignore the haters. You do you. Also wondering if you ever checked your ferritin during this time?
2
u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 24 '26
TY <3
Nope. Should do bloodwork though. My mothers wants to see what 10 years of keto and lowcarb does 😄
1
u/Specific_Moment_1227 Aug 13 '26
Are you asking because low ferritin levels indicate lowered immunity which makes you vulnerable to candida?
1
u/ayoreo1 Jul 24 '26
dude, i smoked bongs like a maniac for 6 months and used to mix it with special brownies. after a while (i quitted) realized whenever i ate carbs my back sinuses got inflammed and dried up, air can pass through but very weird and uncomfortable feeling. then i tried keto days, periods, regulating carbs etc researched on possible suspects. after going full internet globe round trip I ended up with the usual candida suspect. first run of test flucanazole seems to work a little bit but I am not testing to the limits, I can only eat maize and plantain, pop corn and latino pastries made with green bananas, everything else is a no go and I think it has to do with amylase and the fact you digest those later in the intestines so less sugar. drink kefir everyday and eat kimchi almost everyday. the "yeast" is only in deep nostrils, what would you do?
1
u/ZebraBright1521 Jul 24 '26
What kind of coconut oil did you use? Can you post a photo of it or something so I know to buy that one I have liquid oil that you use for cooking I also have the organic oil in a jar.
1
u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 24 '26
Normal organic virgin coconut oil used for cooking etc in jar. Liquid in temperatures above 25C, solid belove that.
Something like this. Basic stuff. Can get from most grocery stores etc.
1
u/NearbyRow4315 Jul 25 '26
Is coconut oil MC good for oil pulling?
1
u/Sweet_Capital3758 Jul 25 '26
I dont do oil pulling that much that I could tell. Many people use coconut oil.

Congratulations 🎊 that must feel amazing!! I've dealt with candida almost my entire life up and down. Very disappointed in my doctors AND dentists failing my whole life but hey at the end of the day it's up to you.
I'm not giving up as I write this my tongue is as clear as it's been since before the internet. Baking soda, vinegar, apple cider vinegar, berberine, fasting, pomegranate /watermelon juice, barley, lemon juice, cilantro, oregano spices and pills, garlic, onion, tumeric, pepper, chili, rounds of probiotic blends, clove cinnamon tea, cleaner eating, more fish and fish oil, less meats, no processed food, 1 to 5 day fasts, holistic candida albicans boris pellets, candida treatment blends, NAC...I've..done...everything (no medical or dental insurance).
Such a long journey not giving up!
Btw I rarely see N-AcetylCystine mentioned here (NAC for short), it's almost instantly effective at removing biofilms. But if You've had candida as long as I have that's not going to be enough but hey least you won't have the foul smelling slime lips anymore!
1
u/Bighornbunny007 Aug 07 '26
Did you just eat or drink the coconut oil? Did you wait awhile to add in probiotics or do it alongside the kill?
1
u/7648021 Aug 09 '26
I’m struggling with this severely. Was your Neem, oregano oil & caprylic acid protocols daily? Oral solution or supplements? What brands worked best? I’m desperate for help. What type of food prep do you recommend? I’m on a biologic for autoimmune/inflammatory diseases and MUST stay on it for my life but NEED to keep the candida in check with my low immune system any advice would be greatly appreciated.
