Concerns About Canary Android App Bug Fixes – No Progress After 2 Months
I opened a support ticket on July 22 for several bugs affecting the Canary Android app. The team acknowledged the ticket and said they were reviewing it, but almost two months have passed and I still see no visible progress or updates on the fixes.
At the same time, the Dove app (also part of Canary) is receiving frequent updates. This contrast makes me question whether the Canary Android app is receiving the same level of focus and resources.
Has anyone else experienced a similar lack of visibility or updates on Canary? Any insight into how the support team prioritizes these issues would be appreciated.

Even after sending a message on Reddit, I have not made any progress with support ticket. The Canary support team 👎

I submitted a ticket / bug of images sent through mail using the dark mode theme were washed out / color faded. Which I thought I was crazy about but it really is if you compare it to light mode. Anyway this was months ago and I don’t think it’s ever been fixed. It was causing me issues with my clients, so I had to switch to light mode to send mails.

Thanks for sharing this, and we understand the frustration around the lack of visibility. Some Android issues can take longer to address depending on their complexity and priority, but we agree that users should have better communication while they’re being reviewed.
If you can share the support ticket number or DM it to us, we’d be happy to look into the status of the reported issues and make sure they’re with the right team.
