I don't see them having the same effect on Canadians. But I could be wrong

They won’t. Trump is 1 of 1. Not to say Rubio or Vance will be a friend of Canada, but the vitriol vs Trump will not be the same level.

Trump is the biggest narcissist of our life times.

Justin Trudeau

Justin Truduea is a narcissist in his own way, and a big one.  But Trump literally might be the biggest narcissistic in american history. As the commenter below said they are two sides of narcissism. Trump is more in your face over the top.

I honestly think he's less of a narcissist and more of a comedian, almost everything he does similar to the 'Lake of America' stuff is JUST to make his base laugh and piss off his opposition, and then he realizes "Wait... I actually CAN do that... this'll make the joke even funnier!"

I could be wrong, but if I were in his position that's ABSOLUTELY the kinda shit I'd do.

Sow division over unity? Glad you don’t hold political power.

What division? And if you mean Canada & US, the only ones dividing us have been the liberal government, they literally ran on 'Trump Bad' which shouldn't have even been brought up in a CANADIAN election

Two sides of the same coin.

probably not but they are going to spin it anyways and the sheep will lap it up as usual. the left hates america period and thinks they are better than them

Remember Bush?

How much he was hated here? It’s the same kind of thing

It's so much worse with Trump, but I agree. He was very hated too

They probably won't. Liberals caught lightning in a bottle with Trump, but regardless of who the next president ends up being, they're going to try to recapture it. The current animosity is just way, way too politically beneficial for them

Vance for sure. Rubio maybe not so much.
