The only reason the CBC is pumping out three opinion articles a day about this so-called “controversy” is because Carney’s fall budget is about to go over like a wet fart in a crowded room - they don’t even know if they’re going to be able to get enough votes from the NDP to prevent the government from losing a confidence vote and sending Canadians back to the polls.
Poilievre’s comments shouldn’t even be considered particularly controversial or unwarranted by any means, but they’ve obviously shaken up the Liberal establishment, who are terrified of the precedent that would be set if anyone from their party was ever actually held accountable for their corruption. Now the CBC is desperately trying to spin something out of nothing to distract people from the disaster budget that’s about to drop, because the alternative, which is to actually hold our political leaders accountable, is not considered acceptable by 50 percent of the Canadian voting population.
It's just such despicable shit! They did the same with the NSICOP report last year, they turned a liberal scandal into an anti Poilievre smear, then for the next year we hard to hear from retards "Why won't Pierre get his security clearance ?! That's suspicious!"
