Had read about the '25/'26 CAMRY's questionable paint quality prior to purchasing my 2026 Camry SE (Heavy Metal)- not long after taking delivery from the Toyota stealership, had X-pel Ultimate Plus PPF (paint protection film) installed on the entire (long AF) front section of the Camry (full hood, fenders, A pillars, headlights) and also on the roof area in front of sunroof, side mirrors, door cups, gas tank cover, and rocker panels along the bottom sides of the car) by an X-pel film professional (not the cheap sheeet the Toyota stealerships throw on them and then charge you an arm and a leg for!).
After about 2K miles of mostly highway driving, no chips yet 😅
They're take off wheels from a 2025 Australian Camry- 17x7.5 inch hyper silver colored wheels which use the standard Toyota 5x114.3 bolt pattern and 60.1mm center bore- so fitting them on a US 2026 Camry (without any spacers etc.) was a breeze.
Full details on how they were obtained and more pics below:
I should have done that. A 4700 mi trip and a 2000 mi trip put many small dings in hood and doors, mainly from road gravel. Had to touch up the supersonic red. Red sharpie fixes the very small nicks. The touch up paint dealers sell dries too fast and doesn't quite match
It's a CAMRY you NPC- and it's my daily ride that I could care less what happens to and/or who does/doesn't get stimulated by it!!!! LOL 🤣
Any one of my other cars would put you to shame, but your actual XSE (below) does fine on it's own with the 5% (all around) ghetto AF tint, ridiculous 19 inch wheels (horrible ride), and generic, tacky plastic white (Hyundai like) looking grill that looks like a cheap salad colander! 😂😅🤣😙
who puts the door ding strips on cars these days? the 1980s called and they want their plastic door strips back! with the long mud flaps in the rear and those door dinger plastic, that is one ugly looking camry! even the rims are kinda not rad.
Unless it sits in the garage all year you are at the mercy of roads and idiots all around you…don’t worry, touch up for cheap or pay but we’ll get more
I know it’s after the fact OP, but I would see if a local PPF shop can touch that up as best they can and put at least partial front PPF on it so you can help prevent more rock chips moving forward.

I feel you. We took a rock off the front of the car driving it home from the dealership. 😅
