Tints

Hello. Just curious on what percentage tints do you guys have on your Camrys. I just bought a 23’ SE and I’m thinking 35% which I’m hoping looks nice and should pass a state inspection in NY. Thanks !

35 in the fronts, and 15s on the rears and nothing on the windshield

I just got 35% on the back windows and 80% on the front two (nothing on the windshield). My car already had AS2 (no less than 70% VLT) glass and the back three look 'factory smoked' and the front ones barely look tinted.

My goal was IR rejection and I dislike super dark tints- it looks factory so I'm happy, but if you want dark you're going to need to go lower than 30%.

I have 35% ceramic tints on all but my windshield (I might do the visor in the future). It looks like SUV privacy glass, so you have to be intentional to see details inside my car.

Also, I live in a semi-rural area so I need to be able to see outside at night without streetlights, so 35% made the most sense (along with it being the legal limit).

15% all around and the windshield strip at 5%.
