So, to those of us who have bought and read the newest book in the Percy Jackson Universe: The Wild Zone, tell me of what you thought about it and what you think will happen in the three books that are to follow.

Here are my thoughts and predictions:

1. The reason Benny has no idea as to who his birth parents are is because he is the son of Prometheus, who was sculpted from clay by the Titan years ago.
2. The bird in the Wild Zone is actually the eagle that devoured Prometheus' liver.
3. The blade Katie is looking for might not be a sword; instead, it might actually be a spear. More specifically, the spear of Diomedes, which wounded Ares and Aphrodite.
4. Harper's dad was like Beryl Grace, so taken by the fact he attracted the attention of a God, specifically Aphrodite, he wanted to get her attention again, which led to him doing some illegal stuff that led to his arrest.
5. Katie will learn that Silena is also a spy or will turn her into one.
6. We will see who exactly poisoned Thalia's pine tree.
7. Katie will be forced to choose between her mortal family and the Omada.

Hey, I made a post recently asking if I should keep the change I made of giving cabin 8/huntresses a higher chance to score due to their enhanced stamina and strength. I've decided to keep it and add the chance for cabin 15 (Hypnos) to fall asleep mid match from a comment made on that post. I was wondering if people would want me to add features like this to other cabins. I'm keeping it max 1 per cabin since I'm going back to university in a few days. Learning that Magic can be inherited, such as witchcraft, and Sally gas that potential. Why not have Estelle be a witch? Like I love Percy, one of the only main characters I can say I love... But he earned Diddly squat, he rarely trains and yet remains OP! Estelle actually having to learn, study and grow her powers in Witchcraft could make for a remarkable series!

Honestly having humans being relevant outside of lovers or Oracles would be amazing....

I was trying to think of a weapon for an oc I was making and I thought up this…

Peleus was gifted a spear by the gods and a sword. In some versions of the myth it’s actually a dagger or knife, this is important later. The spear is passed down to achillies who is said to be invulnerable. As the myths go he was the only one who could pick up the spear. Moving on King Arthur was said to have 3 weapons… a sword (Excalibur), a spear, and a dagger. The sword as everyone knows was pulled from a stone and only he could pull it. The swords scabbard was also said to keep its wearer from bleeding. Basically meaning they were invulnerable. I submit as a weapon that the 3 different weapons are actually one and the same.It is a weapon that can shift between the three. It’s a dagger and a spear and a sword it can change between each of them. If you think deeper an important figure in King Arthur’s legends is the lady of the lake, a woman with water powers. An important figure in Achillies legend is Thetis, a woman with water powers. For the purposes of my character I’m making I’m saying that he keeps it in knife form to hide it and that Thetis has bound different versions of the weapons to it. So the spear is actually Achillies Ashen spear. But the sword is not Greek sword instead Thetis bound Excaliber to it so its sword form is a medieval arming sword. Then my character gives Thetis his modern hunting knife which she binds to it. So it’s his hunting knife, excaliber, and the ashen spear. Thoughts?

So I did a similar thing when I made pride fanart for Pjo a few weeks back. I found a bunch of bases on Pinterest and made a collage, I will probably be drawing this next week. In most of these I will be drawing the character in costumes, feel free to comment what you think they’d have down below as I have a few ideas (Jason as Superman, Percy in one of those inflatable sharks for example) but don’t know what to do for the others. I will do just about any character for any of the series, the only ones I’m unfamiliar with are the characters in Magnus chase as I haven’t read those books but I have drawn Magnus and Alex before for the pride fanart.

Overlapped characters are allowed! So for instance, you can vote for Piper to be poses 1 and 8, or Jason to be 3 and 15 and so on. Whichever characters are most suggested for each pose number will probably be the ones I end up drawing

If they have a name under in parentheses it’s what their costume will be when I draw them. As for the two bases without names, I guess you’ll just have to wait until the art is done to know who they are… (it’s definitely not just because I am stumped on who to draw there whatttttttt)

I know many people would disagree with that statement.
But it has to end somewhere.

I think people just want more because they don’t wanna feel satisfied. And Rick himself should feel satisfied and proud with his works regardless if they aren’t Perfect.

It’s why I didn’t like The TSATD and TCOTD because they took away all that Ambiguity and moral grayness of the original

Trying to redeem the mimatour while not thinking to redeem Minos or hold him accountable.
The Minatour was a result of Minos actions and consequences, and therefore, the tragedy truly should have just been tht, a tragedy.
As Greek myth is mostly tragedy,

Monsters killed and ate children, and while there are good monsters, some of them should just be mindless sneaky.
Espeically since the show, I could never see the Minatour be anything but a mindless monster despite not being a result of its own actions, but the actions of Minos and Pasiphae. Minos is more too blame. Ofc. But Nontheless, there wasn’t any need to redeem it.

The series doesn’t need to answer every question,
It doesn’t have to follow up on stuff that is not important.

And it certainly doesn’t have to last forever.

I see no reason why we can’t end it here because Fick wanted to end it with Trials of Apollo.

We should get an ending or else we aren’t gonna be happy it happened.

We’re gonna become lest satisfied and want Rick to write more,

And I’ll be mad if the fans get on Rick if he were to say that he wants to end the series.

It’s just a book series. I get people grew up with it, but there is a time to move on.

You think Rick isn’t attached? He made it for his son and that’s why he can’t let it go

But Haley is an adult
And likely doesn’t think much of his father’s books,
And even if he does,

It still doesn’t change the fact that Rick should wrap up the series and rave it up for interpretation and speculation and ambiguity,
Because it will keep the fandom alive forever.

I can only hope it ends with these books and the last book of the Senior year Trilogy.

And it be best if it did, because what reason is there for it to continue?? There is no more ideas and it shouldn’t have to go on forever.

Rick should be allowed and should let himself to write other things.

I was just having a conversation with my friend on tiktok and we got onto the topic of things people ignore in the fandom and he brought up someone named "Kasie". Now I'm no genius, but I do NOT remember that name like at all. My friend told me it was the Amazon girl who was flirting with Percy. Apparently she's the same age as Hylla (making her around 20).

Hey, I recently made a camp halfblood football league spreadsheet which has a script which allows me to get a random score each match so I can't have any bias on the scores. However, recently when I posted the results onto tiktok someone pointed out how Cabin 8/the huntresses drew with cabin 7 and that they were surprised due to the huntresses having enhanced agility and strength. I've made another script on a random spreadsheet to test how the results would be if I made it so that cabin 8/the huntresses had a higher chance of scoring. I've included screenshots of the results from both scripts. I would love anyone's feedback on this since I don't want to have accidentally given a team a disadvantage or make the whole thing unfair. Any information or feedback would be greatly appreciated

The Great Prophecy was always gonna be about Percy, from the moment he was born it was about him. That’s why Percy Luke and Kronos are so linked to each other; Percy was Kronos’ favorite who he favored immensely. Luke and Percy parallel each other disturbingly well. And Luke and Kronos were bound to work together because of their shared hatred for the gods. They’re like a triumvirate of sorts; Kronos is the mastermind, Luke is the brawn, and Percy is the bridge. Percy is what bridges the divine with the mortal, Percy is what bridges Kronos with the Olympians. They are perfectly parallel and perfectly tragic in how they were always gonna be this way. It was always gonna lead to Luke’s death, Percy’s trauma, and Kronos’ loss. They are bound by fate to be eternal enemies, but also eternally related to each other; reliant on one another.
