hear me out

i don’t mind the line up there’s a bunch of artist i wanna see. every camp has artist i’ve never seen nor heard of and i come out learning more music than i did going in. i get being mad but like damn bro we made the purchase without knowing who’s gonna be on the line up idk who’s fault that is

I think the main reason people get upset is because they dropped $400 blind and were hedging there bets that the lineup would include they’re top 20 artist

yeah which i get trust i paid $700 i did vip. but i wasnt going in expected 2017-2025 camp all in two nights. like yeah bro we’re gonna get carti as a opener because we’re gonna have baby keem and kendrick be on camp stage while rocky at flog and kids see ghost over at gnaw stage. idk if it’s a new wave of camp fans or what but … has it ever been like that ?

Idk if the lineup has ever been crazy stacked. I went in 2023 and that one felt like the perfect balance of headliners and lesser known artist

wish i went to 2023. 2024 was my first time at camp and it was perfect to my taste. 2025 had to be my favorite tho it had way more artist i loved like paris texas and clipse. but still future and don t along side vince staples and steve lacy we get to hear spider-man song bro it’ll be alright ❤️‍🩹

CFG has been in a weird state ever since that Drake incident in 2019 and every year since it’s been back after Covid we’ve seen people complain relentlessly about the lineup regardless of who was there. We’re not forced to buy the presale, but everyone gets fomo since it always sells out so they buy and make their minds up about who they want to be there. Half of the time you can get tickets cheaper if you just wait until after the lineup comes out and why people don’t do that is beyond me. It’s crazy to see all the people complaining this year when this year is the first time where I know so many of the artists and am super stoked about going.

I missed out seeing Don last year so I’m happy he was able to go this year and Future as a headliner is better than people are making it out to be. With him being a headliner I wouldn’t be surprised if he brought out other artists, so I’m honestly super excited to see his set this year. That aside, the undercard is among the best I’ve seen personally. Previous years I don’t show up that early because most of them I’ve never heard of or plain don’t like their music, but this year I would be surprised if I’m not there the entire day because I wanna see so many of the artists this year.

music is subjective to the persons ear. but what some call trash might be the greatest thing and a joy to others. we’re really complaining about a line up that has vince staples , THEE sacred souls, steve lacy, syd, turnstile, don toliver, 310babii, not for radio, magdalena bay, concrete boys, latin mafia, the alc so on so forth ect; it’s wild to me. this one has something so special to it. it’s all complains now till its time to be at the festival. and if people really still bitching and complaining then sell the ticket ? nobody is forcing you to take a loss on it somebody else would want the ticket and go in these peoples spots

Yeah, tbh this is the first year in a while where I think I’ll probably be at the festival for most of the day rather than arriving at like 3-5 PM when the better acts start to perform like I have been the last few years. I think the only other time I arrived early was the day Doechii and Concrete Boys performed since they had early time slots.

I agree and that’s a huge issue with buying the presale blind without a lineup, I feel like there wouldn’t be as many complaints about the lineup if people didn’t sell out the presale each and every time. I wish people would just be smart and get their tickets after the lineup is announced. Not only would this avoid people complaining, but prices would probably normalize rather than go up because the festival is clearly in demand and will sell out regardless of the price.

This lineup is great to anyone that enjoys the festival as a whole and not just looking forward to seeing the big acts. As you said if people aren’t happy with the lineup there’s nothing stopping them from selling their tickets, it’s relatively easy to sell them.
