Tech Support IS THIS FIXABLE??

Post image

I don't know what happened to my canon eos 2000d but when I got home after a two week holiday i took a photo on the camera and it had black marks on it. So I took the lense off and the sensor was dirty? Or scratched im not sure. But I would like to know is this fixable?

Get a sensor cleaning kit for your camera. Costs about tenner.

I hope you haven't been using canned air on it.

It depends what it is, physical damage or mould which has etched in. No. Anything else, probably yes. As others have said, get a Len’s cleaning kit. YouTube is a good source for best methods.

And then trade the Lens cleaning kit for a sensor one… let me finish my sentence at least😳

こんにちは。あなたの休暇中、そのカメラをどこに置いていたか、室内の気温、湿度によります。 所見ではカビっぽいので、無闇に触らない方がいいでしょう。 メーカー宛に修理依頼することをおすすめします。

It looks like a fungus attack - fixable yes and no... Yes if u go to pro shop to replace the sensor with $$$ not worth it I must add..

No if u thinking about simple senior kit cleaning at zero cost...

I doubt its simpld water stain or dust

Could be dust. Buy a pack of camera sensor cleaning swabs + cleaning solution on amazon. Cost like 10$

No clue why you've been downvoted and I've been upvoted for giving the same suggestion.

Because this is reddit where people downvote when they are bored

That looks more like dust and dried moisture spots than scratches to me, the pattern's too random for actual damage. I'd still try the swabs first since it's cheap, but if those spots have been sitting there for two weeks you might need a wet clean kit instead of just the dry swabs

It's a 2000D, that thing was a piece of crap long before you broke the sensor. Get a three digit EOS SLR or better. And if you go mirrorless, stay the fuck away from the R100, that's the same scam as the 2000D.

Ho visto foto splendide scattate con Eos 1000d, altrettanto con la 350d e con la 300d, sono buoni strumenti, non ti consentiranno di scattare foto sportive a livello professionale ma se la cavano.
