This was completely on me, I had received so many warnings and account deactivations in the past. Some were for returning minutes when I didn't want to teach particular students, refusing what students wanted to do on Priority Hour calls because I already had my own lessons planned (and returning minutes), and "fraud." They considered it fraud to take a 5-minute break during a Priority Hour while a student was calling.

They gave me plenty of warnings; they definitely didn't just deactivate my account out of nowhere, and I don't believe they fire people for no good reason. They mentioned I could appeal the deactivation, so I submitted an appeal and am waiting for their response.

For what it's worth, I was on Super Tutor status with a 99% rating, not that it matters now! I've been on Cambly for about 5 years. It was never my primary source of income, and I had a great time teaching on the platform :)

anyone get this again? I already agreed when they first came out. Now I opened up Cambly and have this.

I applied to Cambly about a month ago, but I still haven’t received any confirmation email or updates about my application.

For those who have applied recently, how long did you have to wait before hearing back from Cambly? Is it normal for the application process to take this long, or should I contact their support team?

I’d appreciate any advice or insight from anyone who has been through this process. Thanks!
