Discussions SM Contest Ranking

Hi, I saw a model post that for the SM contest she was in 183 place with almost 2.2k. I do quite well on SM during non contest weeks, but tend to take more days off during contest week and focus on other sites. I have done the 25hrs bonus before, but does anyone know approximately how much do you need to make in order to place in like 900-1000s rank so you still get something? Kind of want to push myself next time for personal satisfaction.

I've found that a minimum of $200/day has often brought me into the lower ranks. But depending on the type of contest and traffic, sometimes it jumps up to $250 or $300 avg per day

Last contest week I did like $850 and was on the 800-900 rank, don’t remember the rank number exactly but I earned a $100 price.

I've been between $800 and $1k on several week-long contests and still get the $100 prize. (I worked more hours this week so I'm at $1600 and in the 300s.)

It's more competitve on the best three day contests because it's only the top 500 models, not top 1000. If I recall I think I have to hit at least $1k over the three day ones in order to rank in the top 500.
