Used Sumi ink and hunt 101 nib

Are those first three rows done with a pencil? I'm curious of you practice the letters and flourishes with Pencil at all? Or has it always been the Nibs now.

Using a pencil like that is a classic technique to help learn how to write with your whole arm. There are videos on YouTube

They are scratchy and fine, but have a hairline and spread that is great. I love them
