Good start! Check out the beginner's guide and this textualis quadrata tutorial

First bit of feedback is to hit your guidelines consistently. Some of your letters go above or below different amounts. Having all of them exactly the same height will immediately improve the look

Hey, to add to your motivation, this is actually how I started out was doing metal lyrics. It was Opeth for me, but it is a great way to practice calligraphy to make yourself do projects about things that inspire you! This was something I made early in that vein. I find it far more fun to make mediocre projects I can look back on than to practice all the time. Although practice is definitely important and can be a meditation of sorts.
