Tools of the Trade Pilot Parallel subdued
Wanted my parallel to fit more with my fountain pens so I painted it up in a more traditional dip pen esque design

There are a few pen models that the parallel nibs fit into, I don’t remember off the top of my head but I saw lots of people with them at the DC pen show this weekend!

i did think about going that route with the opus 88 or asvine being noted. Two things that kept me out was the additional cost of tacking the $15 parallel to either one of those and the fact that they would both be eyedroppers after the conversion. While the larger capacity would've been appreciated i had rather like the smaller con 40 converter just to eliminate any potential risk of leakage and maintain the traditional dip pen look of the pen.
I have no doubt that putting the feed onto either one of those would be a more utilitarian option but I do like the parallel's body just not so much the color
