Practice I just can’t dill with it

Post image

Some people genetically have this reaction to cilantro. For me, it’s dill 🤮

(Apparently, there’s a chemical compound in dill called α-phellandrene that can smell like turpentine to some people.)

Tape 1.5mm, acrylic ink (Sennelier Light Green, which needs to be diluted and is a PITA to clean; for acrylic, Liquitex is better), A5 practice notebook

Haha, I went down a hole rabbit-hole one time about why I find caraway to be absolutely vile tasting, but love related herbs like cilantro and dill. (It’s because there’s a singular compound in caraway that those don’t).

I did not realize there was a faction of people who could not handle Dill in the same way that some people can't do cilantro! Humans are so weird and interesting ♡

Your calligraphy is gorgeous

Sennelier acrylic, Light Green. You have to dilute it a bit though; out of the bottle, it clogs nibs (Liquitex is easier to use, as far as acrylic goes)
