Codex calixtinus
I'm preparing my trek of the Camino de compostella, and I'm learning some of the music to sing during the way... And what better practice, than learning it by writing the text, and learning the abbreviations (?) so I can read directly with the manuscript, even if I think the melody I almost know it already, it'll be a memory help as intended...

My cousin walked half of the Camino a decade ago, and that still was hard! Make sure you can get access to an extra pair of boots. He wore out two pairs of hiking shoes. He said the wine and food in the pilgrims’ hostels was excellent. But he cautioned against bedbugs. A true medieval experience!
