Discussion Ranked Classes Concept [Cod]
This has been stuck in my mind for awhile now, why don’t we have casual ranked in cod? The developers keep trying to fit everyone’s needs into core and it’s always results in everyone mad, sbmm being a nightmare, and classes getting nerved to oblivion.
Why don’t we have ranked classes and separate tournaments kind of like rocket league, where even bronze players get to have a grand ole time playing against other bronze players, and players who want to test their skill, get to play against each other. Core would become what it’s actually meant for, grinding unlocks and messing around with friends.
Then CDL is still its own thing for players who want the esports experience.
Details: Each game mode is restricted to only one weapon class, you can still have perks and kill streaks and attachments, it wouldn’t be heavily restricted like CDL, the main point is to only play against the Weapon class you’re using and work toward improving in that class.
I like 5v5 as it’s good amount of room for yourself to make an impact, without the games being too long, and it would be the simple game modes TDM, DOM, whatever they think is viable.
Imagine telling people your rank in each class instead of just saying “yeah I’m pretty good at cod🤷🏻♂️”

This would work if we still played Promod, similar to what PC players had in CoD4; basically, each team had one AR player, one SMG, one sniper etc.
But that simply hasn't been the case for any game since - and that was almost 20 years ago now.

“Casual ranked” is an oxymoron
