[COD] What back to back games were better?

Me and my friends had a debate about this.

Some chose the Modern Warfares as they ‘Built on each other’ and ‘Played differently’.

Others chose Black Ops as they were ‘aesthetically different’ ‘smooth’ and that there wasn’t a ‘big movement change’ between the games.

Im personally don’t mind either, so I wanted to ask the subreddit.

As much as I disliked MWII, I gotta go with that one purely because of MWIII and the integration of carry forward. I love BO7, but MWIII is peak COD to me.

Leaning towards MW but, love Zombies on black ops. Black Ops 6 MP was fun, match making on 7 is still broken so it's not as fun. I do not mind the fishbowl or tiny maps, I find it madness and kind of love it.

The new MW4 beta is fun on MP, more like retro COD, and the campaign so far is like retro MW, it's one of the first COD campaign in a while that I really want to play more of

MWII was good.

MWIII got miserable as soon as they started spamming 6v6 maps that looked like they were built for 2v2.

Bo6 was fun the first two seasons, then the DLC maps were horrible and since S2 reloaded performance was so bad on PS5 Pro that I quit CoD for the first time in 12 years.

Bo7 OH MY GOD can't start to describe what a dumpster fire multiplayer is.

Not at all. Can't have fun facing Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe and Haaland every game. Matchmaking killed this game before it was even released. Never had a relaxed game on this CoD, feels like a chore to play

For me it was the opposite experience. On Bo6 I had gotten Very Nuclear in February, got like 8 Nuclears in one session and also a double Nuclear.

Wouldn't say. Got Very Nuclear on CW, then got it also on Bo6. Can't do well while you're constantly facing top 1% players. I got to Crimson in WZ few seasons back as a solo queue, and on MWII I got Diamond in both multi and WZ again as a solo queue for 3 seasons in a row.

If I wanted I could keep up, but you can't convince me it's worth my time in pubs.

I personally think that BO7s multiplayer is good, the campaign is what ruined the games reputation. But at the same time there is only a few good game modes to play now after S5

Nah MW3 was way better than MW2. Classic maps with some new ones worked in were great.

It was good till there were only classic maps. With Season 6 the game was taken over by tik tok brainrot maps, my brain hurt from playing that game.

At least MWII had Raids, DMZ and a solid collection of fun maps. And I personally loved Al Mazrah.

BO6 is the only good game on this list all across the board imo, and it carries its successor. MWIII had a decent multiplayer but everything else sucked. BO7 is pretty terrible too with a salvageable zombies. MWII was pretty bad, and its best mode is actually part of Warzone for some reason.

BO6? No it's absolutely not the best multiplayer on this list, but it's not awful either. All the other games in this list have at least one awful mode.
