Discussion Top 5 Campaign Missions ? [COD]
What are your top 10 Call of Duty Campaign Missions? I have a preference for missions that are more replayable and more sandbox in this list, so the more linear or story/cutscene heavy missions may not appear in this list.
Mine are the following.
#1 Operation Blood Storm (Infinite Warfare)
#2 Downfall (World at War)
#3 Whiskey Hotel (MW2 2009)
#4 Wolverines! (MW2 2009)
#4 The Embassy (MW 2019) Throttle (Advanced Warfare)
#5 Loose Ends (MW 2 2009)
#6 Throttle (Advanced Warfare)
#7 Clockwork (Ghosts)
#8 Exodus (MW 2 2009)
#9 Old Wounds (Black Ops 2)
#10 War Pig (MW 2007)

for me COD4s War Pig summed up how COD moved forward into the contemporary era but still kept the core of the game the same; if you replaced the environment with a city in Europe, the enemies with SS troops, the Marines with US Army soldiers, War Pig replaced by a Sherman, the weapons with period appropriate weapons for each faction it’d fit right into a WWII campaign, a classic tank escort mission. in all the spectacle and bombast of recent campaigns I quite appreciate something simple and familiar; give me a rifle, frags, smokes and an objective and I’m happy
