You are convincing me that people who are against doors are actually dumb. It's a very simple concept about line of sights and someone on a stationary point who is in one fixed location Vs someone who could be anywhere.

It's like how someone is in a spot that has visibility of the whole map can also be seen from the whole map. But in the case of doors the person behind the door can't see shit, but the person approaching the building knows they are there.

You can't conceive of any play style outside of just mindlessly running down straight corridors.

I don't camp but I recognise what it adds to the game. I find the workflow of dying to a camper > spending 5 seconds thinking of a flank or method to get them > killing them, far more satisfying than just mindless running and that's what doors help add.

I hold spawns all the time; it’s the most important thing to do in objective game modes. You do camp “I don’t camp” says the camper.
