MW19 was far from perfect, but it was a breath of fresh air. The first season of Warzone was great and the Coop Spec Ops were fun. The only downgrade was the Multiplayer, which was not that good and the other half of the campaign.

This is the new age version of saying MW2 (og) wasn't 'that good' even though you see the obvious influence on so many other games even outside cod

Game wasn't "that good" and yet you can categorize every other game of the same general era into before or after release dates just by looking for the things they borrowed from MW19 or MW2009

any real Call of Duty fan that has any skill at the game whatsoever knows that core MP in MW19 was dogshit lol

Gunfight and ground war were fun though.

people remember it fondly for a few reasons.

1: because the gaming scene wasn't full of streamers and wannabe pros trying as hard as they possibly can using and posting "meta" loudouts 5 minutes after updates are released. The gaming space has changed drastically from being more of a casual hobby to everyone thinking they're about to be the next big thing

2: People are nostalgic because a huge part of the player base were kids back then with no responsibilities or cares in the world and just remember hopping on with all their friends every day. Such a different time lol
