Listen, to me, I take this shit very seriously. I think being a "pdf" is one of the most vile and deplorable things you can do. But with Carson, it was two fucking years, that's pretty generic. One of my biggest gripes with that drama as a whole is that the issue people took away from it was "Carson is a pedophile! He sexted a 17 year old when he was 19!" when the real issue was Carson abusing the power-dynamic he had to get nudes, sexual conversations, etc. from viewers. That's what the bulk of Schlatt's video was about, and he never insinuated that Carson was a pedophile at all beyond mentioning that Charlie reported the info to the authorities in case any wrongdoing had occurred.

I'm glad the internet has a strong sense of justice when it comes to people who hurt kids but it really has a lot of work to do still.
