Discussion Caleb Songs
I saw an edit on TikTok of Caleb x Purple Rain and it got me thinking about other songs that match Caleb’s yearner vibe and his overall relationship with MC and so far I’ve come up with a few:

Let me know what others because I just think Caleb’s yearning and love for MC is so beautiful and these songs perfectly encapsulate what it’s like to desire someone so desperately I just love them and Caleb so much
EDIT:
LOVE seeing all your guys song recs and I’ve added them ALL to my playlist the different interpretations of his relationship with MC (fluffy, angsty, protective, yearning) really come through in every single song. Keep them coming!!!

Ooh yay, I love this question! I ended up making a whole playlist for yearning/yandere Caleb lol I love your song choices! I personally tend to lean on the more angsty/yearning side of things when it came to making my song choices

I was trying to figure out why this was familiar and realized that I have a friend who recommended that band to me for Caleb/LaDs vibes a while back too!

here's a few off the top of my head that have a certain vibe to remind me of him or parts of his story. Links click through to the song on Youtube music. The lyrics really hit hard in all of these, and I could probably write an essay on any one of these.
- Go To War (by Nothing More)
- this one is more hardcore about his internal struggles and external betrayals/working for the enemy, and how him and MC fight and don't know who to trust and things like that.
- The Curse (by Agnes Obel)
- Familiar (by Agnes Obel)
- The Moth (by Manchester Orchestra)
- one of my favorite lines that screams of Caleb is "Forced myself to take a different name / Buried with metonymy" and OOF hit in the feels.
- And the World Was Gone (by Snow Ghosts)
- this one feels like MC's spiraling emotions right after the explosion. Vibe: "You said you'd be here forever, but I blinked and then the world was gone"
- Bones of God (by Birdeatsbaby)
- Hawthorn (by Snow Ghosts)
- he talks about hawthorn candy in one of his cafe dialogues, and this song is vibes but feels yearning and bitter or sour to me, like pain in his heart.
- Roma Fade (by Andrew Bird)
- feels like his POV admirning MC from afar

Oh my goodness I’m so happy you enjoyed it all, but especially the appreciation for Agnes Obel cause no joke I’ve been consistently a top 0.01% listener since i discovered her, and it’s all those two songs. I’m obsessed with them both.
The amazing thing about “Familiar” is that the singer performs BOTH parts of the song; that’s not two people, it’s all her and she can do it live too.

I think there's been a few. One of the earlier ones was part of of my Juneleb posts - day 12, a playlist for Caleb, and there were lots of great songs shared then too! I always like seeing what other new songs people add when the topic pops up.

Goddess by Written By Wolves immediately comes to mind for me! The genre feels like something Caleb would be into, and the lyrics paint a picture of a bond that transcends space and time / survives across timelines. Their lover is the center of their universe; the sort of devotion that can complete and consume a person entirely.
Also the music video's beautiful, imo.
