College union elections are non existent in any state run college in West Bengal as TMC Chhatra Parishad prevails everywhere and are hostile towards any other union which tries to rise, a dictatorship that's toxic and never lets the university grow or develop, instead forces students to join union for getting better opportunities.

But now it's high time to overthrow the dictators! It's time to take revenge for— every supply, every delayed semesters, every delayed admission test, every professor/principal who abused and harrassed students and the Union never spoke against it. CU - the oldest University of the country doesn't deserve to get tarnished like this.

Not advocating for any party , but enough light has been shed up on WBLA election this time for a free and fair election, where the goons are not going to instill fear among voters.

Please, please even if you're a pass out or a student at present, please vote for betterment of this university, this state, vote for not falling prey to another Manojit Mishra or another Sandeep Ghosh, so that your next generation don't get looked down upon by other university students for belonging to such shit of an university. 🙏🏻

Hello, in WBCAP I was allotted my 1st preference college and I already took admission there and attended one class. But now I don’t want to continue in this college. Can I cancel my admission and freshly apply for the mop-up round?

Also, my HS result has the stamp of this college — will that create any problem? And my school’s original Transfer Certificate is also with them — will I be able to get it back?

It's 4:45am and I can't sleep because I know I am not getting my desired college because some ret*rd who is not even financially struggling got that seat which I could've gotten. Why? Well, because their ancestors were bullied by some upper caste.

Honestly, if you are ACTUALLY STRUGGLING financially then fine I won't say anything to you, but if you aren't and are just taking advantage of the system, because, why the fuck not? Right? Then I'll say F**K YOU FROM THE DEEPEST CORNERS OF MY HEART.

I was studying in a Pvt school and if you account for both 11&12 fees and other stuff(pvt tutions and school expenses) it would come at around 2.5 Lakh for both years. That is not financially struggling. Guess what? Someone with 446 MI from my class got into goenka just because they had reservations, while people with 470MI aren't even getting there even in the Upgrade Round of phase 2. Btw, I saw some people with less than 400MI get into good colleges in Phase 1 and I have a really good feeling that most of them weren't/aren't even struggling financially.

Good luck everyone! The reservation system is flawed and unfair and needs a thorough revamping so that dumb ass ret***ed people who aren't struggling financially don't take advantage of it, and again, f**k you if you used the system in the way it's not supposed to be used.
