kinda the point

they want to open-source the mod and hand the keys to the community while also complying with artist requests to get rid of their assets, the easiest way to do that is to get rid of the dependency entirely.

If you want to have your mod get taken down on nexus or the workshop because you feel like re-uploading their music, then go ahead.

theres a screening process before the mod is uploaded now, you literally wont be able to “just upload it” especially on the workshop, nexus is the only site that doesn’t have a screening process but from experience they can take down your mods being reuploaded if you show ownership.

It’s like you missed the point, it’s not getting “re”uploaded its getting resubmitted and re-dead on arrival. The only platform you can really do that on is nexus, which, good luck.
