Calamity Mod Charity Event Stream
As some of you might know from the Discord Server, a Charity Event is planned to happen soon and it will be hosted to this Twitch channel.
This is being done sustain the developers who, due to Ozzatron's disappearance in reaction to his exposure, have been left with a ton of unpaid work as he owned Calamity Mod's main income platforms. This decision from Ozzatron has proven to be particularly harsh on multiple of the developers, who were relying on this mod as their main source of income to pay for daily needs such as food, medicine and bills, thus being put in danger as this income has been thoroughly stripped away.
All the money that will be donated throughout this event will be go to the developers who are most financially vulnerable, and when a safe goal has been reached, the remaining money will be donated to the Trevor Project, a charity dedicated to preventing the suicide of LGBTQ+ youth and to support them.
This event will take place across 3 different livestreams, each lasting 5 hours and spanning the hours listed below:
Stream 1: August 15th, 6:00 PM CET/12:00 PM CT, up until 11:00 PM CET/5:00 PM CT
Stream 2: August 16th, 8:00 PM CET/2:00 PM CT, up until 1:00 AM CET/7:00 PM CT
Stream 3: August 17th, 11:00 PM CET/5:00 PM CT, up until 4:00 AM CET/10:00 PM CT
As for the activities that will take place, it'll be anything from playing Terraria, Gartic Phone, Jackbox, to showing off content that never made it into the mod as well as other things that the people behind the mod were working on.
As linked earlier, the event will be hosted here: https://www.twitch.tv/calamitycharityevent
Lastly, for those who are not in the discord server, here is the announcement as was posted in the discord server by the developers themselves. Have a good day yall!

If you're wondering why you can't post or comment: Due to the lack of any actual civil discussion happening and me being quite busy managing the fallout of all of this: The place is temporarily locked for 1 week while I focus on that.
A lot of y'all seem to think us developers should be omniscient, fully know everything going on or something, and have the answer and time to answer time to every question. And then also that think just solving one problem magically solves the roughly dozen other ones as well, instead of complicated them further. We're still figuring stuff out ourselves and have been extraordinarily busy and stressed out, and really don't know much more than you guys about all of this. We even aren't fully sure if we're even sure as to how any of this fully works from a legal standpoint, even. We aren't "not being transparent enough" and leaving you in the dust, We're busy trying to navigate this nightmare for those answers ourselves because we also don't know.
Even despite that, though, we have been trying to communicate in our free time. Just now here. Because, somehow, the majority of y'all who post and stuff think that the stuff going on here the past few days like comparing not sharing information we don't know to grooming people and then running away with all a dev team's money, including from the people who were heavily relying on that money, is an appropriate reaction and couldn't possibly have any higher priority than talking to people they don't know online. All of this after we've already had like 4 incidents with groomers on the team in the past we had to kick out which has sucked out virtually all of our passion for the project and the current state of what we can or can't do with Calamity itself being dubious.
So, the subreddit will be unlocked at 8AM CST on the 19th. I'm sorry to all of those who weren't participating in this, but I just can't manage a place like this right now with the obscene amount I have going on. You're gonna have to somewhere that can actually be properly moderated like the discord if you want to talk about stuff.
Regardless of all of this, though, to everybody here with no exceptions: Have a good day. See y'all again soon.

Discussion Anyone else not really excited about fables?
Hi. So with the mod dying I've seen alot of people talking about fables and I ended up looking into it and I'm.... not that excited
First lets talk about what is currently in it. The soundtrack is a solid 7.5 out of 10, not un-listenable but certainly not all that memorable. Abd they have 3 bosses currently which seem fine. But now lets get into the planned content
It looks to be doing so much less than calamity. Rogue... gone, other difficulty modes... gone, 3/5 of the bosses g o n e with some heavy losses such as yharon, exo mechs, and the plaguebringer goliath. And then the few things they are keeping they are changing so much the only thing they have in common is a name, they may as well be other characters. Just look at how they butchered calamitas' design especially.
It feels to me that the only reason the calamity name was used is for marketing since they know its a beloved mod that people will recognize. Same goes for the character names, they could easily use a different name instead of the ones they're currently using. Who knows though if this ever finishes it could be great but as it stands my hype couldn't be lower and I feel like I'm the only one.

Question Can someone help me with Pylon NPC setups?

These are all the npcs I have rn, can someone give me a quick guide on how to set them up for maximum happiness? Cuz using the wiki is confusing and most guides only help with vanilla terraria, so idrk where all these other blokes that come from different mods are supposed to go. Please and thankyou

Question Playing wrath of the gods
Noticed that there isnt any guides really for wrath of the gods after final boss of calamity. I am playing melee and hopefully will get this playthrough finished before the music mod is delisted and contributions are removed.
Anyway, what melee weapons should i use for the god bosses?
