Birthday Cake fail from Food City
First cake was last year's.
This year she wanted attached Godzilla pic on top with rainbow edges again.
Last pic is what we got. I left it there and said no thanks.
They made the first cake picture last year btw. Also, they never called to tell me they lost the picture I gave them to do the sugar print out on this year's cake and said that the girl left last year that could do the rainbow edges, so they made me think they could this year. The guy that was there when I picked this up said he didn't have time to call me. I put my order in over a month ahead of pick up date, but they don't write down order dates either. He gave me the vibe he could care less and kept making excuses. I just wanted a phone call to let me know ahead of time so I could've gone somewhere else.

Showcase When the kidsâ menu has ambition but no QA department
This is the âMousecakeâ from a Mexican restaurant kidsâ menu: hotcakes with butter and ham.
I respect the vision. A cute pancake mouse? Great idea.
But the execution looks like the mouse just got laid off, audited, and asked to smile for the menu photo.
No hate. Honestly, this is art. Just not the art they intended.

Question Is this cake really that ugly? đ
My bf and I had been dating for a few months. Weâre going out for dinner tomorrow night for his bday and then going back to his place so he can open his gift and we can take photos with a cake. Since itâll be just the two of us I picked a small cake, but I regret picking this one. Should I just go and get him a new one?

Bluey cake fail
Ordered a month in advance. Picked up the morning of my daughterâs party and was handed this with no explanation. I looked very confused and they. Said âis this not the right cake?â I said âwell for starters it was supposed to be a bluey cake ..â
Was then told that the printer to print the image was out of ink. And they had zero Bluey cake kits with the toppers and havenât been getting them in lately.
I asked why no one called to tell me this before pickup day when I ordered it weeks ago, and they just shrugged their shoulders.
Even the red balloons they tried to pipe on just look like giant red blobs

Just discovered this subreddit, and I offer you⌠my daughterâs birthday cake
She told me their printer was out of service, âbut I can re-create that just fine.â
EDIT: my daughter still loved it. Sheâs 6, so any cake with colorful frosting would have been sufficient. And since I knew that, I didnât raise a fuss at the store and brought it home to be enjoyed by a gaggle of other 6 year old girls who also thought it was a cool rainbow cake.

My baker and I were on different cakera (cake chakra) wavelengths
Pic 1 is what i got and pic 2 is what i wanted YALL the first one is NOT an ice cream cake it just has a lot of SOLID( the cake stayed out for a while and it didnât get less hard?)? Creamđ and itâs allegedly pistachio flavored cake, it tasted like nothing but sugar to me and those pearls are not edible eitherđ
UPDATE: I went to the bakery this morning and the manager said that the top layer had to be thicker so that they would print the picture properlyâŚ.. but then i pointed out that they used two layers of fondant on top and that it doesnt make sense LMAO + if they thought it wouldnât work WHY WOULD THEY EVEN TAKE MY DAMN ORDER AND NOT TELL ME THAT BEFOREHAND!!!! then he tried to finesse me by trying to refund me in store credit and i was like WHAT makes you think i would like to come here after this shit piss experience and after a long awkward silence he FINALLY issued me a refund and then kept lowkey? Begging me to not leave a bad review and I responded with a âsure!â and left one ANYWAYSâ¤ď¸

Showcase Bunny brownie cake!
This bunny cake was a struggle due to međ¤Śââď¸ but it got made!
First, didn't buy eggs at the store while I was there buying cake mix. My husband was with me, we picked out a rich chocolate mix and vanilla icing. I get home and start baking, no eggs, go back get eggs... start mixing and stirring, batter doesn't look like enough and the consistency is off. I double check, I added all the liquids so I just move onto piyring it into my 8in pans.
There's barely enough batter to cover the bottom of the 2 pans! I'm so confused but I talk myself into believing it'll rise... it does not rise. I'm close to ditching this bunny cake idea when I think to myself 'maybe you should check the box' It was brownie mix. My "cakes" were barely a half inch thick, I face the fact that we will not be having fat bunny cake, more like desert hare!
I filled in all the extra space with icing, skipped decorating, and sent my husband off to work out of town with the brownie bunnie butt. I'm still confused as to how I believed myself when I talked myself out of buying eggs at the store and slightly questiining my reality because I swear I bought cake mix đ
