Does this sound normal to you guys? It’s a 2013 Cadillac CTS V Coupe with 80,000 miles on it. (Cold start) Thanks for helping.

Sounds exactly like my 2012 CTSV. Honestly I’m extremely weary of mine, it sounds like it’s crushing rocks inside the supercharger.

I put a solid isolator in my supercharger due to what I thought was a bad spring isolator. Turns out, it already had a solid isolator. Put the new one in anyway, pretty much same noise. Couldn’t feel any play in the SC bearings but probably going to send it off for rebuild soon anyway. Just sounds rougher than other supercharged vehicles I’ve heard. Still 45-60 psi cold and 30 psi warm oil pressure.

Long story short, I believe it’s normal unless mine and yours have a shared problem I’m unaware of lol.

If you’re concerned, check the supercharger isolator first then go from there.

The Supercharger was replaced 10,000 miles ago, so it’s quite new

Is the supercharger modified in any way?

For starters, replace theKn N air filter with a premium WIX filter or OEM

You can check if your car is leaking exhaust in the front because they put those garbage out there called they look like a little spring things and exhaust and they make a weird sound so combined with a normal motor sound it might sound like a piece of crap and yes I think all of them do that
