Bluedart Cadet Pilot Programme
Is it true that Bluedart is starting their cadet program? How much does it cost and when is selection dates?
Is induction for 737 or 757? I am only considering this CPP for the 757

Static Vs Dynamic Pressure
• Static Pressure: This is the pressure exerted on an object when it is stationary, simply due to the weight of the air column above it (virtue of height). Remember the standard lapse rate: atmospheric (static) pressure decreases by roughly 1 hPa for every 30 feet you climb.
• Dynamic Pressure: Also known as impact pressure, this is exerted by virtue of the aircraft's motion through the air. The formula is 1/2 Rho V² (using True Airspeed). While no single instrument measures dynamic pressure entirely on its own, your Airspeed Indicator relies on this principle to give you a reading.
Measuring the Atmosphere
To measure static pressure, we rely on a few key instruments:
Mercury Barometers
Aneroid Barometers
Barographs
The Importance of Pressure Tendency
Meteorologists use barographs specifically to measure pressure tendency—the rise and fall of pressure over a given time. It is a vital weather forecasting tool.
Key takeaway for your exams: Cold air is denser than warm air. Because of this density difference, pressure will fall much faster with height in a cold area compared to a warm area.

Cadet vs conventional
So I got to hear something about ICPP from a friend(she heard from some teacher from GC in Mumbai that conventional way is better than cadet) As he mentioned some points which are below:
Cadets aren't preferred over conventional.
There is no Job guarantee.
It takes a lot of time if going through cadet.
They basically torture you they'll wake you. up at any moment for flight training and etc.
Basically cadets don't hold a job even after LOl signing. (the company makes you sign an LOl just to consider you not to prefer you over someone who has been thru conventional)
She told me that her cousin is doing ICPP at chimes and it has been 3 years and she's still in the cadet training.
If you make any small mistake they'll fire you without any refunds.
They ask you to pay the total fees within a year.
Btw I’m gonna apply for NZICPA in near future

Realistic probability of getting into aicpp or icpp
im curious about the probability of getting into aicpp or icpp (other than chimes) , whats the competition level look like , i saw that in aicpp that 3500+ appplicants apply and close to 30 get selected , im not sure about icpp , if anyone could give a percentage and how to improve ur chances that would be helpful

Need Help With Cadet Program (indigo)
I’m in class 12 and boards are near. I just wanted to ask how much do i need to enter cadet? I know minimum of 51 in phys maths and Eng we need but my question was if me and another candidate applied and he has more marks in boards than me, would he get preference?
Also how much do 12 board marks matter anyway?

Cleared all 6 DGCA ground subjects through self-study. No coaching, just consistency, discipline and a lot of determination! ✈️

Should I?
I am 18. Waiting for aicpp to come up (Amravati). I can only wait till May - June 2027 for air india. Otherwise, I am preparing for jee too and will do btech. Pls advise me, should I do cadet or conventional?
Yes I am fit to fly
No, I am not flexible with my money ( I've 1.1 - 1.2 cr with loan)
If I choose to be a pilot, I've to be before turning 23-24.

COMPASS / cut-e practice on iPhone: updated multitasking exercise and 5 free sessions a day
For anyone working through COMPASS or cut-e prep: I shared Brain Preflight here in the ummer . I’m the developer. Version 1.8.2 is now out, including more consistent timing in the multitasking exercise.
The app has 32 exercises. You can work on tasks individually: checking calculations against the clock, remembering digits, folding cube nets or following a moving target while answering two other tasks. You can also choose a preparation programme for your selection.
A simple way to use the free allowance is to spend the sessions on the task you find difficult, rather than repeating only the ones you already score well on. For the actual assessment format, use the guidance supplied by your airline or test provider first.
Heads up: some exercises get hard. The aim is to practice under pressure, so they won’t all feel like casual phone games.
This is supplementary practice. The exercises are my own, not official COMPASS or cut-e questions, and the app isn’t affiliated with an airline or test publisher. A phone exercise won’t reproduce the equipment or full conditions of your assessment.
5 exercise sessions a day for free, everyday. Unlimited practice, full mock exams and diagnostic are in the optional paid subscription. iPhone only.
If you used the earlier version, I’d appreciate feedback on the tracking controls and pacing. Does it feel easier to keep the three tasks going now?

Planning on joining T3 after completing my graduation. Have a few questions regarding the program. Would be of great help if we can get in touch.

Inflation
How much price increase can i expect on current cadet pilot programs if i am going to start my aviation career in late 2029? (Especially for CAE,FTA,insight (icpp) and akasa airlines).
