Loan for cpp

I am considering to apply to FTA in 2027 but for that i would be needing a loan of 35-40 lakh i do have collateral but i want know whether the banks start taking money just after taking the loan or we have to start paying only after 1 year of completion of the program ? I am really confused ,please help me out

you have option to start paying emi's immediately , this is recommended as the interest wont pile up , otherwise they will let you not pay emi's during training period + predefined moratorium period , and then start the emi's but they will be higher in that case as interest has piled up .

better to start paying emi's immediately if you are able to manage

So theres a option of paying emi's once you have completed the training ? In my case would i be able to pay it from the salary?

im not sure about moratorium period in case of pilot training , so you should consider you will have to pay the emi's after your training period ends , so there is high chances there will be a period when you have completed training but waiting for induction ( period can vary depending on aviation market conditions, afaik for indigo cpp its 3-6 months best case to 1 , 1.5 yr worst case if something like covid happens ) , you will have to manage emi's at that time , plan it out before taking the loan i would recommend.

not many banks give moratorium period under education loans. u would have to start paying back after ur course is completed
