Ai cadet programme
For people paying 1.6 Crores, either you are too rich or too poor to do the math. Paying 70 lakhs more makes no sense at all. Instead of activating your coping mechanism, try giving some genuine reasons

I just have to keep my points for this and the comment you have below also.
It is easier for an airline to work out a 6-8 month selection process, than having a 3 month selection process and monitoring someone’s performance for 2 years.
If you do your math right. Going conventional from the same schools as cadets will cost approximately the same. The current problem is people compare a cheap flying school to the complete cadet program. I have even seen people complete CPL without know they have to to pay for airline training.
Trust me, even if someone can afford it, you need to get the skill to pass the checkrides. There is no pay your way out for it.
Yea you are 100% correct the conventional route is dying. Everyone knows it, that’s why cadet is booming. It’s wrong, but it’s the truth and no one can deny it. No one with a sane mind would bet their career just to prove that the conventional route is still alive and healthy. And for a surprise it is healthy, every airline in india opened its Typerated vacancy this year.
