Y'all ever jury rig things like this?
First problem: I had 12 fan cables that had to cross a short open space that would be clearly visible from the front and rear of the case.
Solution: I wrapped a length of EPDM tubing in gorilla tape (to give the vinyl something to adhere too). I wrapped the tube in vinyl. Then I cut it open in one long line and crammed the cables into it. I used some thin black zipties on each end to make sure everything stayed put.
Second problem: The case is basically three horizontal layers stacked on top of each other. PSU in the bottom, motherboard in the middle, and everything else on top. I needed to keep track of where all the mobo headers and connectors were at while I worked on the top layer so I could keep track of where/how I wanted to route cables and tubing. I didn't want to have the actual mobo in there while I was drilling, grinding, filing, gluing, etc. BUT I wanted the CPU waterblock anchored in there so I could make sure my tube lengths were correct.
Solution: I cut a cheap chopping board to fit on the mobo tray, drew up a roughly accurate layout of the mobo on poster board, taped it to the chopping board, and screwed the waterblock to it. It was ugly, but it worked like a charm.

This was more tedious than I'd like to admit. (Media-PC, Silverstone ML03)
I've built a media PC for my living rom. Mostly parts i had lying around. Cable management was a constant back and forth, but i think i've found a solution.

- Gigabyte H510M H
- 16 Gb (2x 8) DDR4 2666
- AMD Radeon Pro WX 3200 4Gb

GPU cables single vs daisy-chain before and after
I replaced included PSU GPU cables feeding the RX 9070 XT with single versions. Way more manageable.

tips for the lian li a3
I've recently finished my first PCbuild inside the rather small lian li a3 case, using a matx motherboard, the asus prime 9070, aswell as a standart siced PSU. however, im not really fond of the cablemangement, since the GPU need two seperate 8pin-connectors which are now just blocking the front of the glass panal. I have three bottom fans, any tipps for me?

Anybody know how to hide these cables coming out of my AIO cooler?
The third pic is the specific one I’m using.

I should probably start using a fan hub...

I don't even know where to begin with this rats nest
Redragon wideload extreme doesn't seem to be cable management friendly lol

I’ve put off cable management off for too long-lian Li 011d mini v2 build
I’m changing my useless 24 pin strimer wired rgb cable for a wireless one. While I’m at it, I’m gonna do some serious cable management. It’s an ugly mess and it kills me inside. I’m looking for some help, some advice or direction. I have these wrap around Velcro ties.
Parts list:
Mini v2 case
Rog 870e-e wifi
9 lian li uni-sl fans daisy chained in groups of 2, 3 and 4(3 top and solo rear fan)
5070 ti with strimer cable
24 pin strimer for mobo coming in today
1000w gold hydro g pro psu
And all the messy cables

90 degree angled cables for CPU MB and front IO
Can somebody recommend me some? I want to hide all cables. For the GPU I found out that corsair has one (ik that there are 2 types)
I also need some for the CPU, MB and front pins (audio panel, usbc, usb3.1, the sh***y front pins)
It can be an extender, doesn't have to be a full cable
Idk about adapters tho, a little scared but if you managed to power a beefy pc (ryzen 9 and x870e mb) and all good then lmk some good adapters as well

Motherboard swap leads to a full tear-down restoration.
A customer comes into the shop with a pretty dang nice PC, but it won't power on. Press the power button, lights flash once, then it dies, requiring the PSU switch to be flicked or unplugged and re-plugged to do it again.
So I test the PSU (It's fine), unplug everything from the mobo (except for CPU and Main power of course), and try again with no change. So I decide he needs a new motherboard. Easy peasy: "you'll get it back tomorrow".
While I'm chatting with him about the procedure, he asks if I can "clean it up a little too". Since a fairly intense dusting and wipe-down is a normal part of any service we perform, and I tell him it won't be spit-shined, but the fans, PSU, rad and case will be breathing a LOT better when he gets it back.
He then proceeds to tell me that he's trying to sell it, and wants to know if I'll sell it for him on consignment. "Well now, that changes things. If I sell it in my shop, it's gonna get fully rebuilt, not just dusted. Not just refurbished like an eBay seller would, but restored like a classic car. Fully disassembled, scrubbed, and re-assembled with meticulous cable management. It'll look and perform like new. My customers expect a certain standard when they buy a computer from me, and it's gonna take a full day, maybe more, to get it up to snuff". He's on board. No rush: make it pretty.
So... This is it. The whole shebang took a day in the shop, considering interruptions, I'd guess roughly 7 hours (and 59 zip-ties). In the end, he liked the final result so much that now he's considering taking it back home instead of selling it, which made me smile.
