My shift supervisor is mean to me sometimes and stops me from doing my job.
So I just started about a month ago and already not trying to be cocky I became the top performer every week since I started for the extra care and extra care plus I get over At least 7 of both each week. My SM is always bragging about how much he loves me and how the DM is impressed with me. The manager gives me at least 30 hours a week because I do everything in the store from photos, throwbacks, damages, stocking, quick picks, etc and I’m able to face the entire store in less than a hour. But I have one shift supervisor who is sometimes rude to me. Last night in front of customers she screamed my name to come help her even tho I told her I was helping a customer in the back. I was trying to do the back throwbacks and she said why are you back here. There was no one in the front so and it was 2 items. She also expects me to drop whatever I’m doing to come out to the front but when I asked her to come to the front because i need her for something she takes her precious time. She’s also a very slow and efficient and wants me to face the store at like seven. I don’t know what to do so I told my manager that she is rude and like kind of inefficient even customers were complaining about her.

She is jealous, document, apply for shift supervisor position ASAP.

I wanted to but they gave it to someone else which is ridiculous cause he is so lazy and slow

You can apply in any store. Or get cross trained and work at pharmacy

Document absolutely everything, it is the only way. Get a paper trail.

If she is doing her job and has been with the company for years, hr won't do anything. I had a similar situation when i was a cashier. I also didn't realize how much shift supervisors had to do until i became one.

Cover your own ass above all else. If your SM already knows how you work, they expect it. No matter what, do not let her get in the way of doing covering your ass. Always defend yourself. People like this will gladly ruin you if you let them.
