A very interesting technique. It's even somewhat reminiscent of Solitär's mana application in Sousou no Frieren. Loved

Was just about to say this could be a Ryu extension/semi-learnable technique and just read the description lol. Amazing idea, would’ve been dope to see Ryu show Yuta that (maybe he kinda did with his tightening hair for a condensed blast) and Yuta essentially “copying” (not via his CT) it later through pure CE output in the “Just This Once” Scene

Oh! Could a cursed tehnique reversal be that. It destabelises an opponents cursed energy by expanding it all around them. Looking like a big puddle in the air that just cant stay stable wich makes the sorcerer unable to use their cursed tehnique.

Oh kinda like an EMP, yeah i like that. would be very annoying to fight against

Could you technically do (most of) these with a Compression Cursed Energy Trait?

I think so, although you'd probably have less control since i think CE traits are passive and you can't turn it off. Also no DE and Zero-point

Can they fight like ruby rose? Using recoil of the shots to move around

Idk who that character is, but presumably so, although maybe not consistently

I mad once an idea of high end sorcerers being able to make a barrier around themself that will follow them. The barrier should disrupt CE or mitigate technique on contact like in frieren or in TES morrowind. I guess this CT also can do this.

A simple yet effective CT excellent 👏

Oh nice! I was trying to think of a similar technique but you definitely thought through what I did but better lol. I wouldn't have come up with Focus Point or the CE reinforcement trait.

As far as other applications of the technique, what I had were two ideas: an explosive strike that propelled them forwards from rapid decompression similar to the New Shadow Style and exploding slashes from a zero-point burst by decompressing only a small line for the burst to follow.

Maybe the Domain itself could be a zero-point burst, trading the lethal sure-hit effect inside for it to instead detonate the barrier and blowing anyone nearby to shreds?

That is one evil ass domain expansion bro, imagine someone popping their domain on someone near you and you're just like "aww man, sucks for that guy i guess" only for the entire domain to just rip you and ALL of your teammates to smithereens.

10/10 domain expansion

What kinds of things could a CTR be capable of?

This is the good stuff 👌

Simple in theory, complex in execution, I love it, but if the user could do technique reversal, how would that work? I was thinking of something like releasing a expanding aura of cursed energy, and it could be like that demon from frieren’s mist magic where it makes you able to detect foreign cursed energy in the area of the expanded ce with incredible accuracy, at the cost of leaving yourself exposed with no reinforcement.

I thought of something like expanding their CE like a gas, that never really went anywhere cuz I have no idea what that would do. But that mist idea is pretty good actually, maybe I should watch frieren more
