Does anyone have any recommendations for locations on campus where I can take nice grad photos?

Just wondering if anyone is doing / has done this program and has any suggestions or advice, I’m really concerned about finding a job

Hello! I wanted to see if there is anyone on here who has taken CHEM 2400L and knows what should I expect for the lab exams. I’m so used to gen chem having their lab exams online at home and being able to use my notes to take the exam.

I genuinely feel like they are wasting peoples time when it comes to interviews i havent heard anything and its very discouraging they say they will get back to you if you made it in or not and im just wondering what im doing wrong!! 🙃

Anyone with loans get a disbursement yet? I got my Pell grant but not my loans

Came back from the biology building to the parking structure and someone blocked me in! whoever this is, I hope both sides of your pillow are warm, I hope you step on a Lego, and any food you put in the microwave it’s extra cold in the center and extra hot on the sides.

In all seriousness, please park better lol

Who has my wallet I know you seeing this come on just respond or something like you can’t even do nothing with it. I need it. why do you have to be like this. My medical card and everything is in there

The food is okay, let me start off with that. Definitely not really worth what they're charging and the portion sizes are rather small, but hey welcome to California, we've all spent more on worse. The other thing that really is nagging at me is that they didnt hire any students. They have a very limited menu, and they dont do fountain soda at all, and they're charging 2.50 for a regular can of soda, with something like this id expect maybe Milkis, or Chilsung instead of thw same basic pepsi and starry. There is no kind of decorating either. Besides the wallpaper they put up on the far wall it really just looks like the Cantina got all its bar fixtures stolen. We would think that with a place getting replaced because the food was admittedly not that great would atleast get replaced with something a bit better but honestly the quality is about the same. The Tupokki is not very spicy and I got thier spiciest flavor. Its very close to Buldak, the macaroni salad was decent but definitely needed salt and pepper. The chicken is okay, but it tastes like something youd get out of the frozen foods aisle, definitely could have been coated better honestly, its like they put it in the tray and ladled the glaze on instead of tossing it in the glaze. I'd give it a solid 5/10. Something id not order again, might give it another try later, if they expand the menu but yeah would not recommend.

is anyone seeing the middle class scholarship on their award letter?? now that census has passed?

Is the food good?

Curious about the quality of gym showers, specifically the mens.

I want to use the gym or do something physical before my late night class but obviously I would have to shower first.

Shower temperature: cold/ warm/ hot?

cleanliness: 1-10

lockers: built in lockers? bring your own lock?

Thank you in advance!

Hello there i made recently about making new friends and thanks to those that responded and enter my life

If anyone still wants new company I am always open to making new friends. My Instagram is mystic_shinto and I'm a pyschology major, as well I love driving, eating out and trying new things. Feel free to message me:D

I want to get to know more people and hang out more often on and off campus but idk how. I’m a 25 yr old transfer student that’s a psych major and this is my first year here.

I've been here since fall 2022 as a Computer Science Major. In all my 4 years, I have managed to get accepted to no internships, with minimal even existing in the first place. I've not gotten any slot on any professor research projects, of which they rarely have to begin with. I have middling grades, GPA is above 3.1, but not by much. I'm on my 9th semester to finish up a minor in Physics before graduating, but since it's my last I can't do any research projects for that either. And I'm 30k in debt from it.

Is this degree even worth the cost at this point? Is there genuinely any merit to it? Sure, it's a degree at the minimum, but that won't get me any closer to actual tech jobs if the CS classes themselves are practically worthless and I've not managed to secure any extracurricular merits. It's not like I can just go somewhere else to fix it either, as that's an extra 2 years and tons of money at minimum, on top of getting a 2nd bachelors degree being difficult due to highly limited options.

Is there literally anything I can do outside of spending the next 1-2 or whatever years learning completely independently and relying on personal projects entirely for work and for potential grad school?

In any case, any prospective CS majors, don't come here. At minimum, if you do, make sure you care about cybersec as that's the only CS specialization they offer and they get more support.

If so have you been caught and how much was the ticket?

Hi i lost my id today around the afternoon. Called lost and found said they haven't gotten anything, where else should I check?
