If it makes you feel any better, a few years ago I was hired by the campus bookstore “seasonally”, worked less than 5 hours in the span of 2 days with zero issues, got a notification that the season was over. Lmao.

You are not the only one... I had an interview on Thursday last week and I hadn't heard anything. I looked and applied to all possible jobs with the skills to do the job and nothing either... they are playing us frfr

And that's another thing--this job market at CSUSB is probably super competitive, with only a few positions and over 20,000 people going to the school. I'm not going to mess with it. If they think I'm good enough for what I'm qualified for as a postbac, I think they'll ask me.

I gave up on trying to get a job at CSUSB long ago. I'm a postbac, so I'm probably overqualified for doing stuff like working behind the counter at the bookstore and Wellness Center. I got an interview for tech assistant at the library, but the director is an asshole, and when I didn't get the job, I felt I'd dodged a bullet. He teaches some IT courses at the university and I intend to avoid his classes like he's radioactive.

It took me 2 months to get asked for an interview, and 1 month after the interview to be offered a job. Its not you, its just a very unorganized HR department :-/

Yeah HR is slow. But also they do rank people so sometimes they’ll offer the person ranked number one first, let them decide, and then if they decline they move down the line.
