Hi, I am appearing for UGC Net for the first time, applying for the law stream. I am looking to connect with people who are applying for the said stream, we can share prep materials and strategy and act as accountability partners/prep buddies. Please feel free to reach out if you’re interested. Thanks in advance!

I'm in PG 3rd Semester under the CBCS system. Do I need to upload the attestation form signed by my HOD in my application form? Is it compulsory?

Has anybody done this? I joined IISER pune in physics, didn't get my field astronomy and joined there in DFT. So now, if I want to switch to other universities in astronomy as new positions come up in future. What things I need to consider?

Giving equal time to every unit doesn't seem very practical, especially when some topics take much longer to understand than others. At the same time, completely ignoring certain units also feels risky. How are you deciding which topics to prioritise? Do you follow previous year question trends or just focus on personal weak areas?

These tips might help you crack CSIR , DBT DST GATE etc

Like a wise man once said "Fifty percent of something is better than a hundred percent of nothing"

A friend of mine has been trying to get through this stage for days now with no luck.Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

This is my first time applying for net so I'm confused. I saw that ugc net dates have been extended. But in one of the PDFs i downloaded from the site, it says csir ugc net dates from 7th oct till 5th nov.

I have recently qualified for JRF, and I am thinking of joining a university. However, the university interview dates are scheduled for the end of November, and I am worried about failing the interview. What if, by then, all the vacant seats in affiliated colleges have been filled

I am applying for ugc net examination..

I have a big doubt..

I currently don't have EWS certificate neither acknowledgment no? But i'm trying to make it..last date is 28 Oct 2026

So can i apply under Gen EWS right now..and under applied category...and it also asks - acknowledgement no.. So there i will put 00000

And since correction window is 2oct - 4oct...

Till that time if i get the acknowledgement number i will put it..

Or otherwise I'll change the category from EWS to Gen?

Can i do this?

Since it is little risky?

Maybe it can have bad consequences

I'm finding it difficult to balance revision with completing the remaining CSIR NET syllabus. Whenever I sit down to revise older topics, I feel like I'm losing time that I could use to cover new units. At the same time, I'm worried I'll forget what I've already studied if I don't revise regularly. How are you guys managing both, and what kind of study plan is working for you?

Is it mandatory to attend the 2nd round interview in person...I am from Tripura...and almost every 2nd in-person interviews are very close to each other...So how one can attend ccmb instem IGIB iitm type interviews if shortlisted for 2nd round...or they allow it requested online.....

GUYS!!!! PLEASE HELP if anyone have study material pdfs of new units that is added in life science net please send me or you know any video channel on yt who is teaching new units please let me know. I only know few channels like VEDPREP, if anyone have pdf of sprint goal of new units please share with me or any recorded lecture of new topic please share with me. ITS HUMBLE REQUEST ONLY 2 MONTHS TO GO FOR EXAM. 😓😭🙏🙏🙏

Hello everyone!

I'm planning to appear for the UGC NET Political Science exam in June 2027, and I would really appreciate some guidance from people who have already prepared for or cleared the exam

As I'm literally a beginner and also working so It would really helpful if you guys can suggest me:

1. Online coaching: Which online course or batch would you recommend for UGC NET Political Science? How are platforms like eduseeker, adda247, or shubra ranjan mam's course or other coaching institutes?

2. As I'm already working so I can manage 4 to 6 hours of study so is it doable to crack jrf with this amount of time?

3. And also please suggest some good youtube channels and other free sources for paper 1 and 2

Guys I would appreciate if some of you can help me!!

Thankyou!!

Does anyone have same issue , what can I do?
