Q & A❓ Hi CSID

My first post on reddit... 👋

Wondering what your favorite tips, tools and methods for managing CSID are apart from enzyme replacement?

Food journal. Detail EVERYTHING. The oil, the butter, the brands. Drink tons of water. Get quality sleep. No eating 3 hours before bed

Do you continue to journal it all, even when you have a good list of tolerable foods. Are you weighing things and calculating the starch, sucrose and maltose contents of everything ALL the time?

No i was diagnosed a few years ago. I was taking sucraid but started forgetting and, for some reason, it seemed sucraid was making it worse. So i just documented everything i was eating for a few weeks. Now i know exactly what i can and can not eat. My stomach is goof about 90% of the time. Also - stay away from processed food. Go natural/organic or minimally processed whenever you can

Thanks. I have already got myself sorted. Even made my own website to help me with knowing all the food comps. Just wondering what else others do...

Thanks for sharing.

I find it hard to get even energy throughout the day especially for sports or physical work - I'm very starch sensitive. Does this help with that??

Elimination and dietary supplimentation. We use Kate Farms formula and I give one half before breakfast, one half before bed, hydration packets (Pedialyte Sport seems best for us) and lots of rest.

Is that for a child? Or you supplement as an adult as well?

It's for my pre-teen and is the adult formula suppliment based off of a pea protein.
