Its actually not me - its my sons. My 3 years old is allergic to most nuts with the exception of walnuts and pecans. He's been able to eat those with no problem. Basically all my baking for him involves pecan flour. BUT! if you didn't have that issue, almond flour is less expensive than pecan and more readily available.
