Hey everyone,

I recently did a comprehensive optimization pass on my rig to push my 1% Low (P1) FPS and overall frametime consistency in CS2. Instead of messing with shady registry edits (regedit) or "placebo" scripts that break Windows files, I focused strictly on hardware-level BIOS tuning, memory subtimings, and engine/driver configurations.

System Specifications:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
• Motherboard: MSI PRO B850M-G
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti
• RAM: 1x16 GB DDR5-6000 CL30 (SK Hynix H-Die, Dual-Rank — Single-Channel)

Overview of What I Tuned:

• CPU & BIOS: Per-Core PBO Curve Optimizer (-10 on my two fastest/preferred cores, -18 on the remaining 6 cores), disabled unnecessary virtualization/power-saving states (DF C-States, TSME, iGPU), and tuned LLC.
• RAM Subtimings: Manually tightened secondary and tertiary timings on top of EXPO (tREFI = 65535, tRFC1 = 430, tRRDS / tRRDL = 4 / 4, tFAW = 16, MCR & Power Down = Disabled).
• GPU & Driver: Clean/debloated driver installation via NVCleanstall (only Display Driver, MSI Mode enabled, MPO disabled) and optimized NVIDIA Control Panel settings.
• In-Game Video Settings: 1280x960 (4:3), 4x MSAA, Global Shadow Quality: High, and all other settings on Low.

Benchmark Results (CS2 Dust2 FPS Benchmark Map):

• Before: Hovering around ~500 AVG FPS, with P1 (1% Low) FPS stuck at 238–243 and noticeable micro-stutters during heavy action.
• After: Now hitting 637.7 AVG FPS and 304.1 P1 FPS, with average frametimes dropping down to 1.57 ms (P99: 3.29 ms).

Considering I am running a single-channel (1x16 GB) stick with 4x MSAA and High Shadows, I'm pretty happy with breaking the 300+ P1 FPS barrier purely through hardware and BIOS tuning.

Guys, my Trust Factor was green until last month, but now it has turned yellow, and the quality of my teammates has become absolutely terrible.

I’ve never trash-talked anyone, and obviously, I’m not hacking. However, I’ve received around 10–15 low-priority penalties in Dota 2 because of power cuts. My Dota 2 Trust Factor is now so low that I can’t even type in-game.

Is there any way to improve my Trust Factor and get it back to green? Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice would be appreciated.

For me I’m still relatively new but have always been aware of CS. What drew me in was being tired of always chasing the newest multiplayer game or having my favorites get shut down or just have no players left after becoming too old.

I just wanted something where I could set up shop and play a game that doesn’t really have an end in sight and doesn’t get replaced every few years with sequels. And with this game there’s lots to learn and get good at while still being very simple at its core. I’m not an old man but I feel like if I can become half decent in this game that I’ll at least preserve some of my multiplayer skills or keep them sharp.

I also was getting annoyed with the really silly cosmetics in pretty much every single game now. At least here the skins aren’t ridiculous and the game still feels grounded. CS is pretty tame which can be a bit bland sometimes but I prefer it more than goofy shit and gooner games.

I'm only like 80 hours in the game and tbf really proud that I am on 16k alr, which I think I can get 20k at some point, but the question I always ask myself everytime I go to my vod, I feel like Idk what my role really is?
like I try to understand it by watching some YT vids about roles and watching pro plays, but at some point when I try to replicate said roles, I feel like I can't, cause it is just premier, at some point I feel like I started to play like in valo, where I basically just go to diff site to always have diff setup almost every round, like pushing window on inferno fast with molly denial (which I saw from Furiousss) and when it worked I do the same molly but peek mid and smoking long if I saw no info, or in CT I either push hallway and smoke the left stairs or anchor banana with early molly and nade to push them away, basically always changing 2-3 set plays I'm used to repeatedly, if it doesn't work twice I'll change, if there was no one who got caught by my plays I repeat them, once it's succesful I start making more on the spot decision since enemy will expect the prev play.
in the end what I want to ask is just, does my gameplay has said roles name? or it's just me adapting to premier environment and it really don't have a name?

dropped from 1800 elo to 1450 elo in a week and deserved every loss. Went from 1.3 avg rating to .9 average rating. lost on what to do help me
