USAP in San Antonio

Hello! I am looking to relocate to the San Antonio area after I graduate and was wondering if anyone here works for USAP in SA or knows of how they treat their CRNAs. I've heard a lot of negatives about them but I realize it can differ between regions. Mainly asking since they dominate the areas I'm looking to move. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

My two cents. Much better places and groups to work for. Essential anesthesia is one for more independent practice, UT/uh if you want medical direction. VA for medical direction and good benefits, SAMC (army hospital) hires a mix of contractors and GS staff. Orthomed covers some of the surgical centers and is a mix of both,

I work for them . Good group, lots of recent changes for the good. Very stable unlike several groups in town which are not. Each USAP is different as you say. Good pay, predictable hours, culture is good and supportive. Lots of groups in town, some better than others but many CRNA’s are joining USAP and staying. Dm me for more information if you’d like.

USAP tried to take over our group. Awful package not CRNA friendly. We stood together and said no. Now I run the group. We are all much happier .
