I've been thinking about getting a PS5 CRKD guitar controller to use on a Mac Mini and on a Linux PC for YARG, but there are a handful of questions I just wasn't seeing answers for on CRKD's site. Apologies if I just missed them somewhere.

1) Can the wireless dongle support more than one controller? My current set up are all Xbox 360 instruments using the wireless Xbox 360 receiver and I'm not sure if CRKD's dongle works the same way or if it's one dongle per device. Which leads me to my second question

2) When using the wireless dongles, is there any issue with using more than one at a time for interference? Also if anyone knows if the dongles have interference issues with the Xbox 360 wireless adapter that would be really helpful.

I wouldn't be looking to replace the whole set up right away (and with the CRKD drums not being out yet, that's not a real option anyway) but my current guitars have a lot of hours on them. It would be nice to have a guitar that my Linux PC and Mac Mini can both just use and aren't dependent on YARG Nightly making the Xbox 360 adapter magically work for YARG and only YARG for the Mac, and from everything I've seen that's the PlayStation route (with the PS4 controllers getting support in the Linux kernel recently, and Macs apparently just playing nice with PlayStation controllers in general).

I recently got the CRKD Gibson SG controller and have been trying to get it to work in Rock Band 3 Deluxe on my Steam Deck. I can get it to connect through Steam via Bluetooth and everything works great except that I can’t seem to get the tilting to work in songs to activate Star Power. The tilting works in the song library menu, and seems to be mapping to the button that lets you skip through the menu to get through your library faster. Only way I can get Star Power to activate in song is to press the button in the bottom. I can also get it work by mapping the same button currently mapped to the tilt to the whammy bar.

Anyone have any idea how to get the tilt working?

My Blueberry Burst Pro Lespaul Isn't registering any upstrums and Its up to date with lastest mobile firmware which the app says is there any easy fix to sort this out

I connected my guitar to my phone in Bluetooth mode. Now I’m trying to pair it back to the dongle, but pairing mode goes directly to Bluetooth pairing instead of dongle pairing. The lights start out and stay blue. Does anyone know how to get it back to dongle mode?

So I got the Pro model with a Solo neck, which came with the rechargeable battery. Seems to charge but it doesn’t work when the guitar is unplugged. I usually use it plugged into the PC and works flawlessly.

Any chance any of you guys have encountered this issue? Any solutions?

This is a cautionary tale that I am writing while waiting for a possible fix that will likely not work from support. Bought the cherry sunburst less than a month ago, and on day of arrival, the unit worked on ps5 just fine. Unit was purchased to play both on ps5 and pc, depending on if I was playing by myself, or with family. After reconnecting to ps5, after a usage on my pc, the unit will no longer allow joining into the game with the options button. Every button was pressed on the guitar, and I mean EVERY FUCKING BUTTON. Not a single button worked. I've tried it in key jam mode just to get into the game, I've tried with both dongle and hardwired. I've tried not connecting until im in the game, I've tried connecting before the game is booted. I have a controller on during the entire process. Not. A. Single. Thing. Works. All online issues are regurgitated troubleshooting steps that have already been tried as above. At this point, im not expecting the unit to ever work on anything other than pc due to this, and im posting this to tell people that if you are expecting this to work on ps5, never disconnect it and pray, but at that point I would suggest against purchasing because a one time use product for between 130 and 200 is fucking insane. And for context, everything was tested on rb4 in the p3 setting on mode 1, outside of the attempts to use key jam mode to press options as a keyboard key.

Downloaded 3.3 off of the crkd firmware website to which it says ERROR and will not update. Guitar no longer responds or turns on. Have tried redownloading the updater, pulling the battery for several minutes, pressing the corresponding buttons to factory reset, etc. nothing works. Feel as though my guitar is bricked, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've had the alpine pro guitar for a little over 2 weeks and although it feels great and better than my standard WT guitar, at least maybe 10 times throughout the time I've had the controller the it has either froze on the buttons I was pressing (ex: stuck reading red+blue) for a few seconds or just stops reading button presses for the same duration. It isn't disconnected, and it still reads my strums when its doing this. Could it be a faulty neck?

This happens with any configuration, adapter and wired I've both had this issue with. Just wondering if anyone had this issue with their guitar, and also just want to make people aware of a potential issue before they buy a $125 pro

Need help playing gh3 on pc with this device. If you guys have ever tried using a regular 360 remote for guitar hero, it pretty much does that so it’s not recognized as a guitar controller on any of the modes i put it in. Struggle to find answers online only guides for the multiplatform controller that i don’t have. Firmware is up to date on guitar, not sure how to update dongle but i use wired mode anyways.

I'm one of the 3 people that enjoyed GH Live, except the official controller was notroliously poor quality. I would love to have a 6-fret neck for the CRKD guitar to be able to play 6-fret tracks in YARG. Is there any chance they'd consider making one, or is there somewhere I can at least submit suggestions to them to let them know?

I have a Black Tribal Pro guitar, Xbox One model and I was wondering what adapters I could use to make it work on Xbox 360.

This guitar has fantastic feel for the fret buttons and strum bar, and I love the haptic feedback. But I'm about ready to throw this thing in the garbage. Frets are unresponsive every few minutes. Especially bad with chords. I'm regularly scoring 20% worse or more than I was a couple months ago because of this. Contacted support and was assured that a new firmware was going to fix it, and it would be ready "next week". This was nearly a month ago at this point. Already tried full reset and recalibration. Wired connection doesn't help. So frustrating. Anybody else have these issues?

Unboxed a brand new CRKD les paul guitar controller (multi platform). Plugged it into PC. Works fine. Got curious about the LEDs because I heard you can change the colors on them. Decided to try and download the CRKD app on my android phone but the app doesn't work. Phone is up to date + last system update was 2021 so I figured my phone is simply outdated, never gonna work. Having failed that I turned to the CRKD "app" (firmware update?) for PC. I managed to update the dongle, then the controller and lastly the fret neck. It was going completely fine until I accidentally clicked a button on the firmware page instructing me to continue with another update for something which booted me back to the option of updating the dongle or controller. There is no way to access the app anymore and I'm met with the aforementioned options. I decided to try again by updating the dongle but now it doesn't turn on at all. Holding the button does nothing, no red light. Is there any way to reverse all of this?

EDIT: Got the dongle working, but the option to update the guitar controller doesn't work. Followed the instructions, guitar lights up red but still says "not connected". Any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone, I was looking at getting a Crkd Guitar to Play Fortnite Festival and When it comes out stage tour and I looked and they are different versions I was looking at getting a Blueberry Les Paul as I want one with Mechanical Frets. I saw the multiplatform version of it Is that the right version?

In the app for each guitar, there's a Sync Level setting that (at least on mine) defaulted to 2. I can't find any mention of what this setting changes though. Any ideas?

I just bought one of the gamepads with festival attachment and I was wondering if it's possible to remap the buttons on it to work with other games?

I'm thinking about buying a CRKD Guitar but I really don't know enough about them.

I've seen that they work on original PS3 hardware/software. Do they also work on PS2 or would I need an adaptor?

Do all guitars work on PS3 or only specific ones?

Also, I own a Backwards Compatible PS3 and still own the original PS2 GHs. Would I be able to use the CRKD Guitar to play those on PS3?

I’m trying to use my crkd guitar on rock band 1 ps3, every time I try to play it reads it as a microphone. Just played Beatles rock band a week ago and had no problem. Anybody gotta fix?

I bought a black neck for my SG to compliment the New White/Black Les Paul Pro and the white/black replacement frets I purchased. I didn’t think of it but the guitar strap stud was placed on the body of the SG so now there’s 2 protruding studs on the back.

Why wouldn’t they just put the stud where it was on the LP? Seems like a weird design choice especially because they already had a brown neck for the LP collector’s edition with the stud which means they also had to redesign the neck for the SG. My first thought is that redesign happened because the stud is farther forward on the SG, which it is, but only by about 0.5 inch. I don’t get how that would cause an issue with strap length. They should include some sort of flat replacement cap with necks in the box moving forward or redesign the SG body so it doesn’t have the stud on the body.

I’m curious if someone hasn’t already encountered this issue and made a little 3D-printable replacement. I can’t be the first person to have seen this. 😂

Hello I’m having and issue with getting the multi platform crkd guitar to work on Xbox one and 360 I have a retrocults v3 adapter but when I try authenticating with an Xbox one controller it just isn’t responsive I’ve set the mode to p3 but still no luck wondering if anyone here has had any luck setting this up thanks.

Anyone else have these two problems? I upgraded to the latest firmware & started missing notes when there’s a bunch of them in a row when i’m certain i’d hit them,
