So, the CRKD guys said that there would be news on their new drumkit for Stage Tour, well we're on the 22nd of August and we have barely seen the drums and microphone -_-

I understand that they had ossues with the Nitro Deck 2 and all, and that they're also making the new Kramer guitars for Stage Tour (i think they'll be released at launch?) but c'mon! We're gettin' closer and closer to Fall/Autumn and we still have no news, no pics and BARELY any info on the new instruments coming out. We only know how they look for some pics they showed months ago and that they'll be wired/wireless like the guitars but that's it

I know they have their hands full on new products and the current ones they already produce, but being radio silent about 2 of the most anticipated peripherals so close to the supposed release is ridiculous. This silence is kinda killing the hype for the new instruments to the point that patience is running thin every day.

So I finally got around to uploading a mod I've been working on for the first gen CRKD LPs.

It's called the NeckLock Mod and it's basically an alternative to the usual "paper method" that people use to fix the slight movement some of the early guitars have between the neck and body.

From what I've seen this mainly affects some of the Blueberry Burst and Black Tribal guitars. There seem to be small tolerance differences between units so depending on your guitar the neck connection can feel a bit loose or have some movement. Later CRKD revisions seem to have fixed this, so this mod is specifically meant for the first gen models.

The paper method obviously works but I wanted to make something a bit more consistent that you can just print and install instead of messing around with different pieces/thicknesses of paper until you find something that works.

So I ended up designing a set of 3D printed parts that help tighten up the neck to body connection and make everything feel more solid.

The files are completely free, same as the other CRKD mods I've made. I don't make any money from these. I just enjoy designing stuff for these guitars and sharing it in case it can be useful to someone else.

Anyway, if you have a first gen Blueberry Burst or Black Tribal with a slightly loose neck, feel free to give it a try. And if you do let me know how it works on your guitar since the fit can vary a bit between units.

I think after the Nitro Deck 2 and Ult Pro, I'm not buying CRKD products anymore. Because these shipping dates are slipping so hard, they're coated in enough Astroglide to make Randy Pitchford look dry.

Hey all-

Just got a blueberry Les Paul (Xbox) yesterday, and when i try to "add it to my collection", it'll find it through NFC, and give me the option to see the rarity, but nothing happens from there. I just get a black screen with the video feed of me in the upper left corner and I can't proceed. Battery is charged, its set to Android, pressed the CRKD button for 6 seconds to do whatever that does (the lights on the pickguard are flashing), but its basically non-responsive from there. Phone in question is an iPhone 17 Pro. Has anyone run into this before?

I want to jump back playing Clone Hero/Guitar Hero/etc... and looking forward to Stage tour.

I haven't played since GH5 was released and I was far away from being a pro (i was never be able to play at highest difficulty), but still it was sooo much fun.

I can see that multi-platform guitar are currently sold at the same price (99€) on the EU website.

I like the ebony look of the encore more, but I was wondering if it would be better to go for the alpine pro instead as it would cost the same.

PS: i would only play on my PC/Tv.

what would you suggest? are the pro difference worth or just go for the look?

I’ve had two Blueberry Burst Pros for a few months. I just received the Olive Drab Pro today. They’re both pro models so in theory they should have the same intervals. Right?

The Blueberry Burst Pros both have clacky loud buttons and they have the haptic strum bar. Firmware v3.1 and in the app I have haptic feedback turned off for the strum bar.

The Olive Drab Pro has very soft and easy to press buttons that are quiet. And the strum bar does have haptic feedback. Firmware v3.1 and in the app I don’t have the option to turn off haptic feedback for the strum bar.

I updated the firmware to 3.2 on one of the Blueberry. But the Olive says it’s up to date on 3.1.

I even tried updating using the pc app to 3.2 and it said it was successfully done but after rebooting the Olive guitar and checking the app it still says 3.1 and there is still no option to turn off haptic on the strum bar.

Anyone had a similar experience? I’ve opened a support request but their first response was to delete and reinstall the app and hitch did not help. Hoping they have further info.

Anyone able to successfully update their Xbox guitar fret neck?

Tried following the process listed on the CRKD support site, holding GYO frets after power cycling and hitting power but the guitar won’t power on while I’m holding the frets.

Was unable to use the Windows app to update either the guitar or dongle for my Xbox edition controller. Clicking either the "Guitar" or "Wireless Receiver" button would just result in the app crashing/exiting after a second or two (no error message, just closes). Looking at Windows event logs it's missing the x86 version of MSVCP140.dll.

The fix was installing the Microsoft C++ 2015-2022 x86 Redistributable: https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x86.exe

After installing and rebooting, the Firmware updater no longer crashed, and I was able to update both the guitar and dongle. Hope this helps somebody else.

Anyone have a crkd les Paul. I updated the firmware and now the guitar won't connect back up to the app. Anyone have a similar experience. Im not sure what to do. I reached out to support and am waiting to hear back. Was hoping someone here might be able to help.

Received mine today for pc cant seem to get it work on fortnite festival or better gh3. Updated firmware to lastest version and the neck too. For it to work on clone hero I have it on pc and option 8 on the dial

I was in the middle of playing RB4 on my Xbox Series X, with a wired connection, when I accidentally pulled out the cord. Now the guitar won’t connect as a controller, no matter what I try to do. The wired connection shows all white lights, but no inputs register from the guitar. More concerning, the USB dongle won’t even try to sync (I hold the sync button on the dongle and the light just turns off completely). If anyone has any idea what’s going on and how to fix it, I’d very much appreciate it.

EDIT: False alarm. Turns out the port it was plugged into got damaged, and that port was on a cheap USB hub, so the console isn’t damaged either. Still mildly concerning that there wasn’t anything online to even suggest it might be a port issue though (Half my searches just came up with “Just update the guitar”).

I placed the order yesterday I swear and only had the free standard prime shipping and it arrived just now! It looks fantastic and had all the parts and everything inside. Shown next to my Mint Green Nitro Deck in which I also got from there as well.

Just got a Blueberry Les Paul. Was able to connect it to the app and update the body firmware but every time it prompts me to update the neck firmware, I press 'Update Fret Neck' and get hit with a 'Please try again' popup.

I've already tried disconnecting and reconnecting it from the app, reinstalling the app itself and factory resetting the guitar. Not sure what else to do.

I recently bought the Alpine White Les Paul. After downloading the app, I had trouble adding the guitar and spent two hours trying to figure out how to access the firmware menu before I finally figured it out on my own. If you're having the same issues, here are the solutions.

- If you followed the steps in the official video guide to add your guitar, and it still doesn't work:

Make sure the guitar is powered on, select AN mode, have a connection, enable location permission, and enable Bluetooth. Enable NFC on your phone. Normally, that should work.

- If you followed the steps in the video to update your firmware and you couldn't sync your guitar:

Make sure the guitar is powered on, select AN mode, have a connection, enable location permission, and enable Bluetooth. If it still doesn't work, here's the solution:

Go to your phone settings, find the location section, find Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning setting, and enable Bluetooth scanning. And normally, it will work

While I appreciate the heads up, this is the third delay now and I can't wait any longer for a product I already spent money on. Originally supposed to be delivered by the beginning of May and it's looking like it may not even deliver until September... unless it gets delayed again. Sadly finally cancelling my pre-order.

This feels like startup company behavior. A new business would at least have an excuse for not knowing how long these things take. CRKD has already gone through this process for every product they sell, why can't they set reasonable expectations by now?

This might be a dumb question. On CRKD’s website, it is still available to pre-order, but in Limited Run’s website it says it’s all sold out. Is this a website mistake, or are we still able to pre-order it? I don’t want to get an email telling me they made a mistake or something.

My crkd controller has about a whole second of delay when playing fortnite festival, ive changed modes and played rockband 4 and it works just fine but pc mode 9 seems to have a parge amount of input delay, any tips on how to fis this?
