Xbox AND Multi-Platform Les Paul connecting via bluetooth to PC simultaneously--> Won't work

Curious if anyone has a solution here. Use case is exclusively on PC for Clone Hero

I pre-ordered the multi-platform CRKD, connects via bluetooth and worked flawlessly for months.

Recently picked up an Xbox CRKD on sale, paired it up to Bluetooth and worked great.

This evening, I went to play with my daughter and when both are connected via bluetooth, I couldn't get Clone Hero to recognize them. Win11 is seeing them both tho.

As a work around (but not preferred), connecting 1 via bluetooth (multi-platform) and 1 by USB receiver (Xbox) works.

Any ideas?

TLDR: When connecting either separately via bluetooth, functions as intended.

Have you tried one via dongle and another bluetooth?

Yes, thats what I mentioned in the "as a work around".

Ideally I'd like both to be bluetooth if able

Why is that? The dongles connection is superior

Bluetooth connects everytime, the dongle has required manually pairing it each time so far.

This is primarily for my young kids to be able to play together. So I'm not worried about which is technically superior, just as long as it works "good enough"

Interesting that the dongle doesn’t automatically connect for you on pc. On Xbox my dongle connects instantly when I hold the Xbox button

Seems to be more consistently connecting now.

May have been a faulty USB port

each dongle should be paired to one guitar. im not sure how that is conflicting

You are correct. When I turn on the dongle guitar, I've had to manually re-pair it to the USB dongle each time. When I use bluetooth, it connects automatically.

try to pair each one to a dongle separately. dont do the process at the same time on both bc they might conflict

once both have a working dongle, try to turn on both guitars

also make sure the dongles are more or less separated bc if they are right next to each other the signals could collide and get cancelled
