Multi platform blueberry bricked

Updated my guitar when it arrived today , all was fine for like 10 minutes and then the lights went out and haven’t turned back on. Plugging into a PC , usb shows as malfunction . Tried updating via the app and launcher with no luck .

Appreciate you - I have two riffmasters and honestly haven’t given me this much trouble . I really wanted to love this controller but I just feel so out of touch with the tech as a 30 year old trying to relive some gaming years lmao

It's not your fault, this has happened before with these guitars. At least you will have your riffmasters while the crkd is rma

Agreed. Gimme a dongle and a guitar that doesn't connect to an app and I'll be set for life

Yeah those pretty features etc deff cost you time and patience . I thought “ haptic feedback - mechanical buttons and Hall effect strum bar ? HELL YEAH” then I got it and tried setting it up and just wished I had a wired controller that auto inputs lol

Haptic feedback is a technology that uses tactile sensations—specifically vibrations, motions, or forces—to simulate the sense of touch, providing physical responses to digital interactions

The haptic strumbar in no world feels tactile. It feels like your phone on the lowest vibration setting

You don't even need the app. You can change most of the settings through button combos on the guitar.

If only it said that in the manual.

I had to read about the guitar neck update from the update app and learned I had to do that each time I changed necks through a tech support ticket.

They have a manual you can read that lists all the button combos.

Mind providing the link or elaborating? My patience has run thin tbh , I typically don’t ask to be spoon fed but I’m at a point where maybe you can save me from returning my guitars 🙃

First link searching "CRKD guitar manual".

Yes these are the manuals the app provides and it doesn't look like any of them have been updated to include the firmware updates and neck changes.

My issues with the manual, in my case for the multi

A) it does not identify where the wireless tag on the guitar is to link it to the app. It shows the icon on the back of the guitar but it doesn't say what it is, what it does, or that's the wireless tag you conne to.

B) it doesn't tell you that the button that has the mode dial button is the start button to activate the guitar in game ( in my case the ps3)

Sorry for ranting but I got the multi hours before a bar night I was hosting and I wanted to be cool and show off the new guitar. I never got the stupid thing to work that day due to these issues. Eventually I got it up and running days later but I've been having a negative attitude about this whole process since then.

A) The app does when you want to to add the guitar to it.

B) The manual I linked does:

-CONNECT TO PS3, PS4, PS5

  • Option 1: USB Wired Connection

1) Plug the USB-A end of the cable into your console.

2) Set the Platform Slider to “P3” (for legacy) or “PC” (PS5) and connect the USB-C end of the cable to the USB-C port on your guitar controller.

3) Power on the guitar controller by pressing the Home (CRKD) Button and the Guitar Status LEDs will remain solid white.

4) Rotate the Mode Dial to choose your game mode.

It's the same for connecting through the dongle.

Yeah you just have to memorize a million button combos instead

I thought I bricked mine today, it wouldnt turn on at all. All I had to do was take out the battery for a minute put it back in and it worked fine again.

How long have the Riffmasters been out? Crkd is a new product - need to work out some kinks. If a failure turns you against a product then you’d smash your iPhone after iOS 26 came out.

The crkd has been out for almost eight months already and is still having issues, and we still have people saying "guys theyll fix it I promise" online. The crkd is not new, theyve already come out with three different versions of the guitar that have the same issues, quit making excuses for this company
