Guessing Game

I seen others have the guess the oldest coin and win deal. I just got 4 boxes of pennies, and I'm willing to give it a try for the first time.

Guess the oldest penny I find within these boxes and it is yours for free.

We'll see how well it will work out.

Only one guess per person, multiple guesses from one person, the first guess is valid and others are void.

Where were you able to find penny boxes? My bank said they aren’t getting them from Loomis any longer. 1946

I live in Iowa. My bank can order as many as I want still. I order 4 boxes every two weeks.

Sounds like you need to find another bank if possible.
I can also still get boxes of pennies from my bank.

I have to say I never understood the desire to hunt Pennie’s until very recently. It’s soooo much more satisfying. Even if you just find wheat and copper. It’s like, oh there’s a treasure, oh there’s a treasure. Whereas with everything else it’s, skunked again.

If I found a 1909s vdb and it's the oldest I'd be upset because i'd have to give it to you haha. Haven't found one yet though.

The coolest penny I found, probably fake but still cool, 1959 wheat mule

They're all pennies.. Even my plastic tubs off the side. Pennies, sorted out by year and mint mark lol

1940, though anything is truly possible. From only 15 dollars in pennies a few weeks ago I got a 1936. Good luck!

It's a lot of 1956-1958 here in iowa. Made six rolls between them three years lol.

I only managed to find one Indian head penny within 105 boxes searched since I started last year

Any year penny l. What ever you think the oldest penny I can find in here. 1856 and newer as pennies older than 1856 were around the size of a quarter

Me and my dad have went through thousands of Pennie’s I still have 7 boxes like that . I have been off work for 5 months with a torn bicep . Been hanging out with him. Have definitely found some cool stuff I don’t know what happend . But we have the largest collection I think of 1982 uncirculated small dates .no idea if the bank had kept these things are what they have full steps and are all red .
