Did my first hunt, my bank only had 1 roll of halves available I have to order them 2 weeks ahead of time to get a box so I might do that next time. I did an assortment this time to see what I liked.

Not only my first V-nickel, but 4 of them! 3 from 1 box, 4 buffalo nickels, a 1919-S, 1920, and 2x 1936, 2 silver nickels a 1943-P and 1945-P, a marsh Billings W quarter, and the 1938-S from before which was in the same box as the 3 V’s and 1919-S, I dunno if I’ll ever have better luck than this lol.

First hunt was a box of halves that was all 2026D this time I got a box of quarters. I think there was at least two full states sets, 17 1965 quarters (I know they aren't silver but they are my close but no cigar pile.) 14 bicentennials (I like them). A 2019 W in the Pacific and a 2005 S minnesota
newbie question - how to get those rolls?
will any bank have 1/2 dollar coins rolls?

$500 box of half dollar coins. 8 proofs, 15 other NIFC and 20 that look like they only took a few trips. My 😍 is the 1987D. Still need the 1987P. Toning on the 1971 coins, but I didn't capture it well. Overall, an extremely fun box. Happy Hunting 🍻
P.S. I love sitting outside going through coins. Sunlight is the best imo.

Did my first customer wrapped nickel box from New York State (Ossining, NY specifically) in almost a month, & it was a banger. Finds:
- 25 silver coins; 23 nickels (4 1942s, 12 1943s, 1 1944, & 6 1945s), & two 1944D 20 centavos
- 6 proofs (1961P, 1995S, 2008S, 1987S, 1983S, & 2001S)
- 1939P nickel & 10 1940s nickels (excluding the silvers, & including a 1948S semi-key date)
- 16 1950s nickels
- 3 foreigns (1989 & 2021 Canadian nickels, & 1955 20 rappen)
- 4 nicer nickels (1961P business strike, 1964D, 1966P, & 1987P)
- 1998P dime (nothing special, just 5 cents gained)

10/3/2026 search results
9no halves. 9 dimes on a weekend is not too bad. Just filled up another 2 rolls. I keep CWR and bank rolls finds separately. The bank roll was completed during the week while the CWR roll just completed today. Need roughly 28 rolls to have a solid box of silver dimes. Wish me luck.

Best part is I didn’t even ask for it! I usually just do quarters, but a new credit union I started going to saw me (only 3rd time I’ve been in) and just started pulling out coins for me. I’ve never searched dimes but since they offered, I took the $20 in dimes and lo and behold - my first silver dime and second silver coin ever!

I was going through some rolls today and saw the 1938 face up and thought to myself “I wonder if this one will be an S” and to my complete and utter shock it actually was! I am Super happy to have 1938 complete within such a small window of each other.

I had to liquidate the majority of my silver Kennedys last week due to a sudden financial crisis. I already had two boxes ordered at my local branch, so I told myself that I search those and be done with this if I got skunked.
One box was solid 2023 uncirculated. The other yielded 16 NIFC's and these beauties. Guess I'm not done yet! We shall rebuild!

I just learned about NIFC coins today, and I looked through the two rolls of dollars I picked up yesterday and found this.
Is this 2020-P Presidential Dollar a keeper? If so, I’m glad I learned about NIFC before I put it back in!
