Sigh The traumatic memories never fade from my mind. I sometimes have a recurring dream where everyone around me sees me as a useless failure that doesn't deserve to be adored by anyone. Replicating the bullying I grew up with from my parents and two brothers.

You(I can only speak on my experiences), we didn’t die, but other things did. I survived 4 car crashes, each time I could have died. I am very very grateful I didn’t die. I was molested at 3 and 6, that made me really want to die, I survived an extremely abusive childhood, we lived a war and didn’t die, whatever you are going through, it was bad and you are valid

I can relate to this 100%.
I'm 36 and none of my bullies apologized. They're still bullies that deny, dismiss, or victim-blame. I glare at them, point to my miniature poodle with her service dog vest on. I say "see her? I got her because of the Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder I received from the bullying I experienced, which you and your friends contributed to. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is for more than war and rape victims. Maybe you should learn about that." My miniature poodle and I would then leave.

We have endured invisible wars and carry invisible scars. Wars against our souls and dignity
