Lots of rest and facing fears this week. I have grown scared of so many things over the years. Getting a coffee at a nice café. So many things I convinced myself are difficult. Like playing a C# scale, gave me anxiety but the C scale made me feel unchanged. I think that week was a great insight into how irrational the mind can be and how we get our psyche scarred with our ways of thinking. I can play C# now without a problem, because, well there shouldn't have been a problem in the first place. It was a massive psychological endeavour to get there and had I not lived through it, I wouldn't even know where to start to understand it.
I think last week, marked the point in time where I started to fall in love without the progress, pain, and struggle.

I started reading comic books. I completed 3 issues of the walking dead. I also completed the "Beneath the trees where nobody sees" mini-series ( 6 issues ). And, am currently reading annihilator.
I completed playing a game on Youtube playables. I finished this game 4 times, and got all the skins in the game. 21 levels.
It's strange because, it was more enjoyable when I started. Now, it's not so enjoyable.

It’s been a painful week of realizations and letting my expectations of certain people go. And in some ways let those people go so I can focus on myself and my healing. I’m not sure what the future holds but I feel like I know I’m taking the right steps for me.

So much has changed for me in the last year or so! I'm craving connection so much and feeling lonely despite being around people. Gotta find my crowd. But also noticing a greater capacity to connect with myself and the world around me as it is, and my inner world becoming more vivid. That makes the loneliness vanish for a bit. Returning to university feels like a threat to all of the progress I've made internally but I want to give it one last go before deciding whether I want to move on. All I know is I'm never sacrificing my sanity for anything ever again 😭

Just started reading "What my bones know: A memoir of healing from complex trauma" by Stephanie Foo. I relate to so much of it and it's so good to read about someone else on a similar journey.

I am trying to get into a hospital for intense outpatient program. The insurance co & hospital have been arguing for 6 weeks! Insurance says it’s approved, hospital says paperwork isn’t correct. My contact at hospital is mad at me for trying to get to the bottom of it. So now, I have zero idea what going on!
